President Trump early Sunday tweeted that the race for Democratic National Committee (DNC) chairman was rigged.
Bernie's guy, like Bernie himself, never had a chance. Clinton demanded Perez! Trump added.
Former Labor Secretary Tom Perez on Saturday defeated Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) to become the next DNC chairman in a win for centrist Democrats.
The race, which split along establishment-grassroots lines, in many ways mirrored the divisive 2016 presidential primary between Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Hillary Clinton.
Sanders and many of his allies backed Ellison, the first-ever Muslim elected to Congress and a star on the left.
Congratulations to Thomas Perez, who has just been named Chairman of the DNC. I could not be happier for him, or for the Republican Party! Trump tweeted on Saturday, sparking a response from the new DNC chairman.

235 - 200 is the second round vote. The first round was much closer. Something like 213 - 204.
I like the transparent Trump. But there ought to be a little bit of self discretion, right? We don’t want him to start tweeting who he thinks is attractive and who he thinks is ugly in the office of the POTUS. Right? Somewhere, some kind of internal deliberations about what to tweet about need to kick in. If they don’t, that says a little about what is inside. ALIMHO.
What a beauty! You can't seem to isolate the topic, amazing. Do your stuff dude, hopefully it helps and not hurts, unless you are helping the wrong side.
Let's all think about this. Why haNd the other side talking points that could shut down effective tweets? Why would we cede that?
Let's be the sharp shooter, this fire hose stuff is silly, and perhaps dangerous, and perhaps jeopardizes the effective. JMHO
“The purpose is obviously to antagonize.”
Nope. You don’t get it.
If the tweets bother you, you are better off ignoring them. Don’t overthink them, don’t react to them, don’t complain. They are not targeted at you.
“Why does he feel the need to comment about everything?”
Why do you?
Bump
I agree Trump may be wise to hold off throwing stones for the accomplishment of at least some of his own campaign promises. If that proves less than satisfactory he is going to end up with a divided party of his own.
At this point, I trust Trump.
Yes, wood chips are flying all over, but we hired a chain saw to cut down all enemies.
Later, fine woodworking saws can come in to make everything pretty for the faint-hearted.
Trump is just using politics to further divide the DNC. It is a great ploy and it you don’t like it maybe you fail to understand that the democrats are in full attack mode all the time, and this just weakens them.
If you can get your enemies to take out each other, you save your own men for a future occasion.”
Some Sanders supporters voted for Trump. I think it is a good idea to remind them that they will never get any traction in the Democrat party, and if they want an anti-establishment guy, that is Trump.
This is a BRILLIANT move by the master political manipulator, President Donald J. Trump. He’s deliberately throwing gasoline on the fire of Dem identity group internecine warfare, providing the losing side with a ready-made battle cry!
He is constantly poking the hive. And then he pokes the bear.
How much better can it get?
Troublemaker lol.
The muslim dude is a STAR of the left?
What are the odds nowadays he’s on the 2020 ticket to get the self hate vote.
Trump’s tweet was like seeing a split in the log, putting a wedge in, and hitting it with a sledge hammer.
Democrat party, instantly split in two.
We’ll see how the “coalition” holds in 2018.
We could see some big gains from this.
You know, some folks won’t listen to others when they say your party is corrupt. Then they see it for themselves and all of a sudden many things are up for grabs.
This could be a defining moment for a lot of Democrats.
Trump nailed it on this one. That’ll leave a mark!
It was. They were not going to allow a Black guy to win.
