Trump's Rise Was Rooted in These Three Things

Now that the dust has settled, protests have largely come to an end, and Donald Trump has added the title of “president” to his name, it’s worthwhile to take a breath and look back at what transpired over the past 18 months.

How did the man that millions laughed at for so many months become President Donald Trump?

It’s actually fairly simple when you study it.

The Three Factors Fueling Trump’s Improbable Rise

To say that Trump’s rise to president was as simple as a three-pronged approach would be doing a disservice to all the people who spent many sleepless nights concocting intricate strategies, quelling dangerous lies from the left, and traveling to every corner of the country for the better part of a year and a half.

But with that said, it’s easy for us to look back on the Trump campaign -- and the movement that swept the nation -- and tie his success to three significant factors.

In this article, we’re going to take a look at each of these factors and what they meant to the businessman’s success.

1. A Frustrated Middle-Class

Perhaps the most telling factor in Trump’s success has been the massive collection of frustrated middle-class families. While the lower-class and upper-class overwhelmingly voted for Hillary Clinton, Trump cleaned up with the middle class. But before we touch on how he was able to do that, let’s take a look at why the middle-class feels so disenfranchised.

If he does so, some RINOs, and perhaps many RINOs, will abandon him and vote with the Democrats.

The Republicans will be signing their own death warrant if they take that route. They've already lost much political capital on account of doing nothing the past six years when they had the majority and acting instead like the minority party. Now that they have the House, the Senate and the Presidency, if they roll over once again and surrender to Democrats, they will never (and rightfully so) have such an opportunity to lead again.

I believe President Trump will essentially call them out this Tuesday night (State of Union speech) and challenge them to get on board. Otherwise, I see Trump himself disassociating himself from the Republican Party and declaring himself an Independent, and will build a coalition to form the basis of a brand new party. Republicans as we know them will go the way of the Whigs. That might not be such a bad thing. The GOP is for the most part rotten to the core and are led by globalists and surrender monkeys.

I said, in June 2015, that he should run as an independent, beat Bush AND Clinton in the general, and run candidates for Congress.

That was too big of a project, I suppose.

If he does that now, they will remove him. I’m sure there are 19 GOP Senators who would vote to convict right now, but there are not yet 218 votes in the House to indict.

Trump’s rise to power is based on the following:

Our political class has been an utter failure for several decades. It has become not merely a suspicion, but a fact that is shown in blinking neon every single day, that politicians do not view themselves as being our representatives, they instead view themselves as being our masters. Every single combination of President, House of Representatives and Senate, divided between either of the two major parties over the last 50 years, has produced just about nothing but disaster for this country in various ways, the sole exception to that being a few years under Reagan (who’s election required a similar revolution to Trump’s).

We were facing an election in which a lot of people finally understood this, and also understood that the candidates put up by the elites in both parties would be functionally identical. Then comes along this ultra-successful business man, who went completely against the grain and said whatever was in his mind and heart and, more importantly, what was in OUR minds and OUR hearts, and he just blew them all away. He applied business and marketing principles from a completely different world to politics, and swept competing politicians of both parties away like so much garbage.

Over the course of the last month, we have seen that he is, in fact, very different from all of these people. It was not just an act. He is fulfilling campaign promises on a daily basis, and shows no sign of slowing down or changing that fact. The powers that be in our political structure and the media are predictably shocked and enraged. He is doing his level best to end their world, and Donald Trump’s level best is pretty damned good. You could say no less about a man who turned a $1,000,000 loan into a multibillion-dollar fortune in less than a lifetime.

I am happier now then I was even during Reagan’s time in office. Now we have not only the example of what Reagan accomplished to look back upon, but we also have the lessons of various failures and shortcomings during his administration and subsequently, that could not be known at that time. We know, specifically, that the opposition cannot be trusted to adhere to their word, or care for the people of this country, and we also know that federal judges and justices must be very closely vetted to make sure that they perform as expected. Knowing all of these things, and having a Republican-controlled Congress, will make Trump a far more successful president than Reagan ever was... and that is saying a lot, because Reagan was the most successful president of my lifetime.

On what basis could they justify removing him?

Even if they found a basis, as I said earlier, they would be signing their own death warrant (as a viable party). All those new voters Trump brought to the GOP (such as those in the Rust Belt) will go away and never come back.

This would be an interesting thread: When and why did you become a supporter of Trump? You already answered the question, of course.

I never disliked him. I preferred some others.

But his unapologetic attitude won me over. His ability to defend his positions. Quick on his feet. I hate milquetoasts. Own your position or change it.

The hatred of the liberal press impressed me. You can know a man by his enemies.

The fire in his belly was inspiring. He wanted it. I supported Dole, McCain. . . but I never felt the passion from them. I could have done better in the debates than they did.

The selection of Pence gave me solid ground to advocate for him with my conservative Christian brethren.

So it was a serious of advances, for me.

Since he has been elected I have been OVERJOYED at his actions, although he is not contra the homosexual agenda enough for me. I knew that going in.

Interesting that no one seems to be attributing his win to God. I prayed for Donald Trump and our country every day for well over a year, and my prayers became more fervent the closer the election was. I know I wasn’t the only one to do so. I’m still doing that same thing.

A huge (YUGE) part of the unscripted personality is his total rejection of political correctness. That may have been the biggest part of it.

Another part is the fact that since he was “unscripted”, that means NO ONE was writing the script for him. Not Soros, not the RNC, not the DNC, not donors. NO ONE.

And being unscripted, the media and the Democrats with scripts didn’t know how to react when he went off script. Priceless.

I understand your sentiment, but the term “unscripted” to me implies something akin to “unprepared” or the like. What is wrong with open, honest or forthright?

I really am tired of media and journalists defining the narrative of things with their own lexicon.

For me, I was sick of all the Republicans telling us all the usual conservative promises; then immediately upon getting elected, turn around and give us the middle finger and tell us to shut up because they know better than us. So I decided to vote with my middle finger...named President Trump!

A friend of mine even coined the phrase “President Giant Middle Finger.” Love it!

That is why I never vote for anyone that makes a lot of promises.

President Trump has made a lot of promises, but so far he has kept all of his promises. Will he be able to keep all of his promises remains to be seen. It all depends on if we keep control of Congress or not.

Trump’s rise to power happened because:

1. people from all over this country realized what Freepers have known for years, that Congress was not representing us, only themselves. They still are, but the President is on to them, just like we are.

2. Trump saw, as Freepers have voiced for years and many, many Americans recognized, that our country is being destroyed by the progressive left and their wilful disregard of the Constitution.

3. Americans are tired of being lied to by the media, and having every bit of news slanted and skewed negatively toward Conservatives.

4. Obama was a disaster for this country and Hillary/Bernie would finish the job.

5. Lastly, but certainly not least, I believe God, reached out, and blessed America again.

Yes, the hand of God was clearly present in our election. We pray for President Trump every day.

Hillary was programmed by a vast political machine.... numbered about 1000.

Everything she did and said was focus-grouped, tested to appeal to separate voting blocs..... she sounded like a robot.

Trump kept saying “we’re gonna do this” and we’re gonna do that. People felt like they were a part of the process.

Hillary’s little-concealed contempt for plain ol’ us showed up bigtime in her “deplorables” remark.

She actually thught she could get away with belittling and degrading ordinary Americans.

The Clintonistas all hated him. But Hillary-Its-Your-Turn was forced to run for Obama's third term....and she stupidly took that route.

Obama had a habit of raining on Hillary's parade.

For instance, Hillary's debates came off looking good and she looked good after the convention. But her campaign fell off a cliff, after Obama gave her a helping hand.

Obama's obsession for burnishing his (gag) legacy is all he ever thinks about b/c it means big bucks for his foundations.

So his sap-happy "I'm The Greatest" messaging forced Hillary to follow his lead and run for a third Obama term. She no longer ran on change, she ran on Obama's continued progressiveness in a country crying for change.

She lost the election in the final two weeks because of avoidable things like Obama embracing her that sent the electorate a frightening message.

The Royal Idiot's ringing endorsement of Hillary meant many people had moved over to the Trump side.

Trump is moving very fast, in particular on items he considers promises. And, he’s already accomplished more in his first few days than probably a whole collection of past RINO presidents ever have. I suspect he will surpass Reagan.

Regarding your concern, he’s starting out with keeping promises and high priority items. He’s a straight Christian. I suspect he’s already got something going on a back burner regarding homos, but wants his priority stuff in place first.

I figured he’d be better than Bush, but he’s actually surpassing my wildest fantasies regarding cleaning up the nation.
