Joe Scarborough went on an epic rant this morning against liberal academia and the way it shuts down and ultimately radicalizes conservative students who grow frustrated with being stifled in the classroom.
The segment began as an effort to explain Stephen Miller’s personality, as Morning Joe cited a column by Andrew Sullivan in which he speaks of conservative students who are often “mocked, isolated, and anathematized on campus” and often react by adopting “brattish and obnoxious positions just to tick off their SJW peers and teachers.”
Scarborough took it from there, growing increasingly inflamed as he described his personal experiences at two different Southern state universities where he never had a conservative professor in the humanities, and students expressing conservative opinions would get “booed in class.” Scarborough described the feelings of the students getting shut down: “if I can’t even say mainstream conservative thought in my class, I might as well go out on the quad and have an affirmative-action bake sale. The hell with them.”

Scarborough had one of his good days this morning.

This is why they had to get rid of Milo...he was reaching the young people, he is gay, he talks like they do...and they had to get rid of him....but from what I hear, he is going to have his own program...
I tried to listen to him, but couldn’t...I do not believe in a lot of what he says, but he was connecting with young people on their level and they were listening to him...
That’s all I’m saying on the subject, I personally don’t like him...so this is a look at where I stand...
Scarborough isn’t worth watching......regardless if he had a rare lucid moment.
Mika needs to control Joe’s thoughts better.

He’s trying to take the focus off of what Mika blurted out yesterday.
Mika really didn’t engage in the conversation.
Jon Meacham agreed with Joe that this is a serious problem.
Joe’s more like a Kapo... yeah - he suffered when he was younger but today he trashes conservatives as much as Mika and the rest of ‘em ... or more.
The only way we know Joe’s a Republican is his incessant habit of saying, “Republicans like me...” or “I’m a Conservative” etc. If he really was a conservative he wouldn’t have to say it. Mike doesn’t say (every show) that she’s a democrat - she doesn’t have to because it’s obvious.

That’s the main reason why I watched the show this morning. I don’t know if they addressed it, because I tuned in late (6:20) and left early.
Does he flip a coin each morning to decide who to rant about?
Too seldom for me to ever watch his show. He is a schizophrenic in my opinion. Mika is just, well let's just say not quite playing with a full deck the majority of the time.
He needs to be ranting against the airhead (and mistress) he works with who tells us what we should think.
