Multiple reports show that my former colleagues in the intelligence community have decided that they must leak or withhold classified information due to unsettling connections between President Trump and the Russian Government.
Said an intelligence officer: I know what's best for foreign policy and national security And I'm going to act on that.
Some of us might applaud this man, including a few of my fellow Democrats. In their minds, this is a case of Mr. Smith Goes to Langley to do battle against a corrupt President Trump.
One small problem. The intelligence officer quoted above was actually Aldrich Ames, a CIA traitor whose crime of treason in the 1980s and 1990s resulted in the compromise of more than 100 assets. Many were tortured and executed as a result.
Ames flawed logic is eerily similar to that of his present-day colleagues who are engaged in a shadow war with their commander in chief. They, too, have decided that their superior judgment is more important than following the law.
For the sake of argument, however, lets assume that these officials are somehow different than Ames. Lets suppose that they have compelling pieces of information that indeed suggest Trump or his staff have committed treason.
When youre trained as a spy, youre taught how to handle these kinds of situations. . .

Where were these ‘heroes’ when Obama and Hillary were destabilizing the entire middle east? Jeez, Trump is probably the first president in 100 years that is not focused on nation building and war. Think about it, we have been at war non stop since 1917 with a few years of breaks along the way. Have we gone one decade without war since then?
I can’t believe that bottomfeeding Kenyan was able to destroy the CIA. There is just too much homosexuality out there these days.
"...Who is Shmucker?..."
> “Elected by no one, responsible only to each other, these spies have determined that Trump is guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors.”
Dumb.
> “Days ago, they delivered their verdict. According to one intelligence official, the president will die in jail.
Dumber than dumb.
With regards to Bryan Dean Wright:
> “I understand how this might feel appealing to deeply partisan Democrats. After all, I didnt want Trump to win either. But the solution to fighting this subpar president cannot be encouraging a network of spies to tip the scales back in our political favor. We must instead let the system continue to work, as it has, and make our case to the American people during future electionsElected by no one, responsible only to each other, these spies have determined that Trump is guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors.”
If Bryan Dean Wright is an ex-spy, then:
1. It is not difficult to understand why he is, should be, and remain a ‘was’,
2. It is fortunate that he is a ‘was’,
3. If he is representative of the class of spies, we are in deep sh*t.
I dont care who was on Tucker....
....this is FAKE NEWS!
You’re joking.
Agreed.
Yes, I agree with your take on things.

Thanks.
Wow! That can not be unseen or heard.....I wish it could.
Yeah. Can easily add in the massive systematic voter fraud too.
I honestly do not believe the left has won a legit election for over 50 years.
How can a pollster square 73% of Americans approving of Trump’s deportation progess, but only 51% cared enough about it to vote for him?
You can’t. He probably won with 60%, if you back out the vote fraud.
The upper echelons these days are all Clinton people or people hired by Clinton people.
Don't kid yourself, either, Ames was not that much of an exception other than his selling information to the Russians rather than to the highest "friendly" bidder. Folks like him are the norm these days.

“Make no mistake, the left is attempting an insurrection.”
Could be the case, may be a concern...at the core of things though, these individuals are cowards and they will try to achieve some result without exposing or endangering themselves. This is where they’re both vulnerable and ineffective.
Explain?
The CIA is a “hammer” and to them everything “looks like a nail”. They are very good at collecting intelligence against state-actors, and sometimes they can even formulate an actionable plan to disrupt that state. Problem is we live in a world increasingly threatened by non-state actors like ISIS & “George Soros-type” uber-rich. The CIA isn’t nimble enough for that. But they can rattle-the-can at budget time claiming this this or that threat from Russia or (fill-in-the-blank).
Enter Donald Trump. Trump sees that he needs a screw-driver and everybody at CIA panics. Remember they are very good at destabilizing nation-states? In which direction is the hammer swinging now?
I hate him.
He’s from my state and that makes the hurt so much worse.
If it is offensive, I apologize and will stop using it.
I think an insurrection is underway. They seriously believe they can topple Trump and by so doing topple the Republic.
It looks to me like quite a few, on both sides of the aisle, have already openly shown their intent to bring down Trump’s presidency. They have one scalp on their belt already.
