Our local area is wet but no flooding, thank goodness.

2 yrs ago I looked into flood insurance but was told by 3 different companies that not being in a flood zone prevented them from selling to me as 10% of my area didn’t carry it. Seems like anyone who wants it should be able to get it!

Agreed! Most of the time the insurer would never have to pay out anything.
