The U.S. Senate passed legislation recently cutting funding for NASAs global warming research.
The House is expected to pass the bill, and President Trump will likely sign it. Supporters say it re-balances NASAs budget back toward space exploration and away from global warming and earth science research. Republicans plan to end the more than $2 billion NASA spends on its Earth Science Mission Directorate.
By rebalancing, Id like for more funds to go into space exploration; were not going to zero out earth sciences, Texas Republican Rep. Lamar Smith, who chairs the House Committee on Science, Space and Technology, told E&E News. Id like for us to remember what our priorities are, and there are another dozen agencies that study earth science and climate change, and they can continue to do

Zero is the only acceptable number.. How about getting rid of NOAAs fully automatic weapons along with the IRS.. unless of course these weapons arm pointed at Russian bases in Syria.

Texas Republican Rep. Lamar Smith, who chairs the House Committee on Science, Space and Technology, told E&E News. Id like for us to remember what our priorities are, and there are another dozen agencies that study earth science and climate change, and they can continue to do...but at reduced budgets.

I recommend this youtube on Mars Direct and its mission to put some sense into the NASA budget. Very well done, with the history of the Mars Society, and the nuts and bolts of getting there inexpensively, efficiently and quickly:

It should be $1 so Trump can say he continued funding GW research. Let the scienstitutes at NASA fight over who gets the buck.

No, of course not- got to keep the lie alive-
How about we pour money into science that PROVES that there is no way man could possibly be responsible for climate change since the amount of CO2 produced by man only takes up 0.00136% of our atmosphere?
