Dave Rubin of The Rubin Report may want to pick up a history book before trying to make claims about who Jesus Christ hung around with or would have approved of. In a rather hilarious clip, Rubin, speaking with comedian Trae Crowder, made the curious claim that Jesus hung around with a lot of Muslims, because he was in the Middle East

Islam, of course, wasn't founded until the early seventh century. It would have been quite hard for Jesus to have hung around with Muslims, given that they did not exist yet.

From what I understand, their hatred of Jews stems from the direct contradiction between Judaism and Islam. They cannot both be correct. And since all the prophets were Jews (except their false one), they also see Jews as a threat. “In time we hate that which we often fear”. Islam is not about spiritual enlightenment, but is a cult which appeals to the basic animal instinct of “us vs. them”. To be Islamic means you must hate everyone else.

Rubin is a millennial homosexual atheist. He claims to recently have departed from Leftist orthodoxy and also claims to have become something of a libertarian - although he still seems to me like a socialist and typical, knee-jerk American urban progressive in nearly all ways
He doesn’t strike me as particularly intelligent, nor his views very interesting. Not sure why he is popular at all.
