Charlie Daniels: It’s Only a Matter of Time Before There Is Blood on the Streets
cnsnews.com ^ | 2/14/2017 | Charlie Daniels

I see young people interviewed on television who can't even articulate the reason they are protesting. Others bent on destruction who probably espouse no cause but chaos.

I've seen hysterical protestors screaming about First Amendment rights which they seem to think only protects them and those who think like them and that the opposition has no first amendment protection and should be shouted down at all costs.

The rhetoric is becoming hotter and more nonsensical, the radical element more apparent, the violence and destruction of property more common place.

The pot is boiling and it’s only a matter of time before there will be blood on the streets.

Americans have the right to civil disobedience, a right to gather and demonstrate against some policy they feel is unfair or harmful to the country at large, but they do not have the right to interrupt commerce, break windows, burn cars or do bodily harm to those who disagree with them.

>Provided they buy only one box of ammo , I am not concerned.<

.
Even if they did run out of ammo during a shooting war, ISIS will send them an unlimited supply.

What’s the difference between civil disobedience and free speech? The line between the two is getting fuzzy when you listen to the liberals.

“I’m too old to man a 81mm mortar.”

Problem is it won’t be a straight-up force-on-force conflict. Recall the 1970’s with its bombings & assassinations - those people are leading the charge now. When you see the blood splatter they’ll already be running away. “Asymmetric warfare” will be their plan.

We won’t need you to man a 81mm mortar.
We’ll need you to carry a handgun to instantly stop an attack commencing.

“Was that the asian school teacher? I saw it also, and first thought that came to mind is that she is a cold-blooded anarchist, who would not hesitate to maim and kill others. Very evil and cold in her speech and mannerisms, a person akin to a devil’s agent. That is what the left is becoming, devoid of humanity and compassion. And she is a teacher? “

I’ve seen that woman’s type before. All that b**** needs is a Charles Manson. She would cut a baby out of a mother’s womb as long as it was for “the cause.”

In civil disobedience you intentionally break the law and break the law in protest with the full understanding that you may be arrested and you will face the consequences.

Exercising Free Speech is not a violation of the law.

At least you won’t have to carry the base plate.

I agree with him. The “resistance” coming from every possible angle, secret Facebook pages with training on how to resist, the media using “not normal” to marginalize the Administration, other world leaders bitching and griping. I think we are headed for nastiness.

It’s not necessary my opinion, it is the way the courts view Constitutional law.

The courts are not the arbiters of the Constitution, the people are through their representatives in Congress. When law is made up out of whole cloth by the courts the people have the right to set things straight using civil disobedience and outright rebellion if necessary - it's not necessarily my opinion, that is the opinion of the founders of our country (and the authors of the US Constitution.)

Thus far, it has all been ours.

There was a video in here yesterday about a sheep-hump slapping a black bus driver. The husky driver gave the punk about 15 hay-makers to the chops and threw him on the sidewalk.

I'm sure there was some rag-head "blood on the street".

We are a very long way from a Civil War II. They do not have much support in the general populace and that is required to start anything serious.

Reasonable people may move out of the cities to the safer suburbs but that is about it. See Detroit.

Rights are enumerated in the Constitution, not the Declaration of Independence.

That's only a legalistic, technical interpretation. By definition, the Declaration of Independence proclaims certain basic rights of the whole people, if not the individual.

That proclamation was supported by solid reasoning and self evident truths. It still stands as a supporting foundation for our nation's Very existence.

We ‘fight back’ by showing our calm, hard-working, honest and rational selves to others. By voting. By engaging in our local R precincts. By giving charitably. By supporting businesses that are patriot-friendly. By speaking truth to lies. By teaching our children. By humbly praying.

Don’t get me wrong, I have defense resources aplenty. If they do bring it to that level, then it’s equal and opposite reaction.

I saw that. It made me feel good. I think that I saw the bus driver kick him in the ass and sent him on is way.

Once outside the bus, the driver gave him one last pop to the face, which left him lying on the sidewalk.

It was a thing of beauty.

I think that you’re wrong. DID you not see what happened at Berkley and other places throughout the US? The situation is more explosive today than what I have ever seen before. And on top of that, the situation with the muzzies is not helping any.

I carry in Texas and have a license to carry. Under our law, if I see an assault I can use whatever force is necessary to protect someone if their life is in danger. Hope I never have to, but the Castle Doctrine goes beyond my own property.Every state needs this. Maybe we can get national right to carry, since some states deny their citizens the right? This will restore the Second Amendment.
