10 Senate seats that could flip in 2018
The Hill ^

Posted on 02/10/2017 8:19:49 PM PST by bryan999

Democrats reeling from a devastating election face a daunting task: the 2018 Senate map.

It favors Republicans in a big way. The GOP will be defending just eight seats, while Democrats must fight for 23 — plus another two held by independents who caucus with Democrats.

What’s worse is the fact that many of the seats they must defend are in states won by Republican Donald Trump.

Midterm elections for sitting presidents are historically challenging. Democrats in the Senate are hoping to find some political momentum for 2018 given the difficult playing ground.

Here are 10 Senate seats that could flip, in alphabetical order:

We need to make sure we ditch the establishment Republicans.

Get on the Trump Train or get out.

You can see it already, the Hill Republicans are secretly bucking Trump.

At this rate I think they will lose more than that.

We need to focus on local elections. State legislatures, mayors, school boards, etc. Keep taking away their minor leaguers.

Corker, Hatch, Heller and Flake need to be Cantorized in the primary.
They all voted for Rubio’s Gang of Amnesty bill.

They can easily lose 11-12 seats.

There will be one or two winnable governor’s races in 2017-2018 too.

Looking forward to the chance to finally send Claire McCaskill back home to Missouri. Let’s hope the GOP finds someone electable this time.

With Democrat voters now being deported, the number of vulnerable Democrat Senators could be much more than 10!

Only one of the 10 is held by a Republican. I want a net gain of 8.

Hatch, Heller and Flake are all Mormons! The Mormon Church is as bad as the Catholics at flaunting our immigration laws. Take it from me, I was raised in that disgraceful church. They may “say” they are “subject to man’s laws” but the truth is that they aren’t, and neither are the Catholics. At least the Mormons don’t rape little boys behind the altar.

So. Much. Winning. Let’s enjoy it while we can and do ALL we can to thwart them as we Make America Great Again.

I’ve been around long enough to see how the pendulum swings. The mistake we’ve made in the past is NOT hobbling the ‘Rats when we’ve had (few) Golden Opportunities to do so.

This. Is. The. Best. One. EVER!

Let’s not squander it!

Dean Heller is a neverTrump, is not a shining star here in Nevada and a lot of us will work hard to see that he is not reelected.

By the way, he was the senator that came saundering in at the very tale end of the vote on Sessions. Sorry, arrogant sob.

2017 Virginia and New Jersey. Thank God it is an off year election. We may have a chance, but then again we lost Louisiana shockingly.

And we lost a seat in a recent election I think in Iowa this week.

There is another election on Tuesday (I want to say Virginia)

Republicans can sure screw it up that is for sure.
