Gillian Christensen, a spokesperson for the Department of Homeland Security, which oversees ICE, confirmed that agents this week had raided homes and workplaces in Atlanta, the Los Angeles area and two other cities that she declined to identify, as part of “routine” immigration enforcement actions. ICE does not use the term raids.
But immigration activists said Friday that they had documented ICE raids of unusual intensity in the past 48 hours in Vista, Pomona and Compton, Calif.; Austin, Dallas, and Pflugerville, Texas; Alexandria and Annandale, Va.; Charlotte and Burlington, N.C.; Plant City, Fla.; the Hudson Valley region of New York; and Wichita, Kan.

What these raids will do is send a signal to the illegal immigrant community that Trump is serious about deporting them. That will make them head for the border in order to escape the raids. I expect to see a mass exodus OUT of the USA, and we’ll likely see the same people who were coming north just a few short weeks ago heading back south the way they came.
Self deportation will only occur within the groups that came to work, not in the groups that have come to harm, especially those fro the Middle East. Hopefully we can root them out quickly.

Yup. E-verify and eliminating the welfare they get, are the two biggest incentives for self-deportation. We hear nothing about this strategy.. only ICE doing their thing.

Obama was suing companies that were using E-verify so I assume there will be some sort of transition period if and when they want to start enforcing the use of E-verify.

Need to get a few stories out there re: raids, using their own ill-gotten gains to pay for their deportation costs, add in a few ‘never to return’...we’ll see a lot more ‘heading home’ on their own.

This is exactly why I and millions of others voted for DJT. We demanded the return of TOTAL law enforcement, no exceptions, and it looks like the President fully intends to make good on his promise to do just that. Thank GOD for President Trump.

You are exactly right, and every loyal American should express this fact to others at every opportunity.
I have not seen any reports of people lawfully in the U.S. being frightened. Those who are frightened could pick up a book of remedial Spanish and head for the border.
