Former director of national intelligence James Clapper spoke out on President Trump's travel ban on Friday, saying he fears the order could create a "recruiting tool" for extremists. In his first interview since leaving office, The Obama-era official told CNN's Jim Sciutto he is unaware of any intelligence that would prove the need for Trump's executive order banning travel for nationals from seven Muslim-majority countries.

The Neocons have long pushed the argument that we need to allow unrestricted Islamic immigration into the USA in order that we can secure cooperation from translators and informants and governments for their agenda of wars in the Middle East.

Clapper is correct!
The illegal stay of the constitutional travel ban is a recruiting tool for extremists to get in before the ban takes effect. The President of Syria already has affirmed that extremists will be rushing into the USA given the window of time created by the activist judges.
James Clapper is an idiot.
What he has just done is to signal to all Muslim terrorist plotters operating out of those seven countries, that the CIA does not know anything about their plots and plans and that they're good to go without fear of being stopped.
What a monumentally stupid thing for a 'former government official' to do. But in the case of James Clapper, 'monumentally stupid' is pretty good as a blanket description of the man and his actions while in office.

The only way you stop recruiting amongst the more than 1 billion Muslims is to kill everyone who gets recruited. You can’t stop it before it happens numb-nuts (Clapper), if taking in millions of Muslim refugees into the west stopped terrorist recruitment, there’d be no terrorists already.
