A federal appeals court has maintained the freeze on President Trump’s controversial immigration order, meaning previously barred refugees and citizens from seven Muslim-majority countries can continue entering the U.S.
A panel with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit upheld the ruling of U.S. District Judge James Robart, who had decided Friday that Trump’s temporary travel ban should be put on hold. The Department of Homeland Security soon suspended all enforcement of Trump’s controversial directive.
The Justice Department, representing the Trump administration, could now ask the Supreme Court — which often defers to the president on matters of immigration and national security — to intervene. The Supreme Court, though, remains one justice short, and many see it as ideologically split 4-4. A tie would keep in place whatever the appeals court decides.

At this point I think Trump just needs to come out with a total immigration ban.

GOOD, then HALT ALL IMMIGRATION Immediately until this is sorted out. Tell everyone the 9th Circuit told you to do it.
We know who to blame now for future attacks.
Time for the House to start impeaching federal judges that don’t follow their pledge to uphold the Constitution. Includes Supremes that use foreign law in their arguments. If they don’t cite the Constitution in their rulings (which is all they should be based on) they should be fired.
How long until SCotus gets it?
Why can’t President Trump issue a new EO saying he will personal review each and every refugee and visitor visa request and then take his damn time to slow walk them....
Seems simple to me...
The justices can’t make President Trump’s State Dept. give visas to people. Maybe some already with visas will get in, but we don’t have to issue new ones until they can be properly vetted.
Issue an order that all airlines must not allow anybody to board with a passport from those countries. If they do they get their license yanked.

The only way for Trump to win now, is to withdraw from the kangaroo court game and declare the court in insurrection to the law, historical precedent, Supreme Court decisions, and the Constitution.
If he does anything else, he'll be allowing the court to essentially erase the executive branch of the federal government.
This is a judicial coup d’etat. The people have lost the power to protect themselves from ISIS & Al Qaeda despite a Congressionally-enacted law expressly giving the President power to stop the issuing of visas to aliens in terrorism-connected states.
Just to show the absurdity, wait for the incoming videos of mexicans, on both sides of the border, celebrating the decision.
I have read the decision, and it is unmitigated horsesh#t.
Read some of the footnotes and the fact that the Court adds to the people affected the illegal aliens who are here illegally but who have due process rights, the decision reads like they were smoking marijuana while dictating it.

Rescind the current EO and write a better one! Use the best attorneys you can find to write it! The law is on President Trump’s side.
Page 13 seems to suggest that aliens outside of the United States have Constitutional rights. Anyone agree?
