Berkeley Student Newspaper Publishes Essays Defending Violence
Breitbart ^ | 7 Feb 2017 | Joel B. Pollak

The Daily Californian, the student newspaper at the University of California, Berkeley, has published a series of op-eds defending the use of violence to shut down a lecture on campus by Breitbart Tech editor Milo Yiannopoulos last week.

The series is called “Violence as self-defense,” ostensibly on the premise that conservative speech is a physical threat.

UC Berkeley, a public campus once celebrated as the birthplace of the Free Speech Movement of the 1960s, now apparently celebrates the use of violence to suppress free speech and violate the civil right rights of guest speakers and fellow students.

"Students were “compelled” to protest violently, she says, because Milo’s words make students feel unsafe, and therefore call for pre-emptive action"

So the children of privilege on campus have walked themselves around 180 degrees from their arguments of fifty years ago.

So much for the academic dedication to "pursuing the Truth."

The simplest way all of us can help defund these institutions is refuse to let our students attend them. And unfortunately, some of them have Christian in the name, so you have to vet the organizations and say no, you don’t defend freedom of speech or reflect our views, no, my children are not attending.
Oh, and stop donating to them, too.

The snowflakes are becoming more and more Naziesque with each passing day. I can’t wait for “spring break” when these ***holes are getting drunk and “hooking up” instead of bothering people and trying to overthrow the U.S. government. They are so obnoxious.

I’m guessing she’d feel differently if that same theory of “self-defence” put her in the cross-hairs.

Student #1 — “That boy looked at me. I think he was undressing me with his eyes.”
Official Response — “We can expel him. Would you also like him to be charged with rape?”

Student #2 — “I got jumped by two students. They stole my MAGA cap and stomped me. What can I do?”
Official Response — “Well, to start, you can stop causing trouble. They were compelled to act violently because you’re a dumbass.”

It would be cool for the FBI to investigate each of the authors for his or her participation in the terrorist riot.

Maybe we need to start holding snowflakes to their own rules. “Your abortion rally is making me feel unsafe. I’m going to pepper spray all of you.”

Ok, then it is valid to physically attack any identifiable liberals, to preempt their planned physical assaults on us. Preemptive self-defense.

Let’s get out there and kick some lib butt! (Is the < /sarc > tag really needed?)

Note to Berkeley rioters: if you’re breaking glass at night because a gay, Jew is speaking, you’re not protesting fascism. You are fascism.

I really don’t have a problem with a student newspaper expressing a radical opinion. That’s part of what college is for...pushing the envelope.

Unfortunately, the snowflakes refuse to allow anyone to counter their argument - which goes against everything a university is “supposed” to stand for.

And the so-called adults in charge are encouraging their actions. Which proves once again that the 60’s radicals weren’t protesting for free expression, they were simply jockeying for position.

Rather than fighting “The Man” they wanted to BE “The Man”.

And the struggle continues.

From several articles I’ve read, there is an active investigation by the FBI?

So...
