As Trump Criticizes 'So-Called Judge,' McConnell Says, Let the Courts Decide

In a series of nine tweets over the weekend, President Donald Trump defended his executive order temporarily suspending immigration from seven terrorist-infiltrated countries, and he slammed the federal judge in Washington State who temporarily blocked the order, calling him a “so-called judge” in one of his tweets.

The liberal media seized on that remark.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), asked if he had “concerns” about Trump’s comment, told CNN’s “State of the Union” on Sunday, “Yes, I think it is best not to single out judges for criticism. We all get disappointed from time to time at the outcome in courts on things that we care about. But I think it is best to avoid criticizing judges individually.” […]

… “I mean, the courts are going to decide whether the executive order the president issued is valid or not. And we all follow court orders. The administration is following the court order, as I understand it. And the courts will ultimately determine the validity of it. Let me just say, I think proper vetting is important to the American people. But there is a fine line here between proper vetting and interfering with the kind of travel or suggesting some kind of religious test. And we need to avoid doing that kind of thing.” …

The Kentucky’s favorite eunuch, McConnell.

Always foot-dragging and turning victory into agonizing defeat.

He had no problem making decisions against Reagan in the 1980s

Yes. Pointing out what McConnell really is: just another Blue Dog Democrat.

The idea that the guy is the ideological leader of the Republican Party is just flat ridiculous.

Seems to me that Blue Dogs would be more conservative than McConnell, who leans to the yellow-dog side.

Why is McConnell in a leadership position? He’s not up to the job. Get him out of the way.

They’re not cowards. They are happy being the Goldstein to the Dems’ Big Brother.

Arthur Larson, who was Eisenhower’s executive assistant and speechwriter, wrote a book titled “A Republican Looks at His Party” (1956) in which he laid out the GOP big-government outlook. The title was essentially identical to Democrat Dean Acheson’s book, “A Democrat Look at His Party” (1955), which itself was congratulatory of the New Deal and other big government strides made by that party.

Your analysis is spot on.

The GOP is truly a bunch of pathetic invertebrates. Trump’s biggest obstacle over the next four years will be the GOP.

Trump should directly confront McConnell with an insulting tweet that exposes his duplicity and weakness. McConnell is already against everything Trump wants to do for the country, so what is there to lose by hammering him with a few good shots via Twitter?

The media say Trump is trying to delegitamize the judicial branch

************

The truth is just the opposite. Its the judicial branch that wants to delegitimize and control the executive branch (whenever a Republican is president).

McConnell is obviously paid by Soros to destroy as much of our Constitution as he can. McConnell is criminally insane. This ars hole never read the constitution and hasn't the intelligence to understand it.

Typical loser establishment Republican.

He has no desire to lead and would have been content if the Senate went Democrat.

God hears the voice of His people.

Heavenly Father, You are All-Powerful, All-Knowing, and Ever-Present. We pray that You will raise up fearless leaders and remove those which are in positions of influence that are not in Your Will. In Jesus Name, Amen
