SAN FRANCISCO (KPIX 5) Some East Bay conservatives say they live a secret life. They can never tell anyone what they really feel like in fear of their safety.
Robert Ward is coming out conservative, but in a place he says is risky for those who share his beliefs.
If you witness what happened in Berkeley, actually they are so violent on top of it. I mean being a conservative in the Bay Area is like being a heretic, says Ward. You lead a double life. You can never tell your friends and co-workers.

That is exactly the thing that tells you who the NAZI’s are.
Note to Berkeley rioters: if youre breaking glass at night because a Jew is speaking, youre not protesting fascism. You are fascism. Sean Davis, co-founder of The Federalist.
. . . and rightly so.
Myself and another conservative faculty member, in the bay area, use private email for any political gossip. There is an anti-Trump sentiment among most faculty that you wouldn’t believe. Ok, maybe most of you would believe it.
How things have changed.
Back in the early ‘50s, in the days of the homosexual oriented Mattachine Society, the members kept their identities secret. They spoke in code, if I recall correctly, they organized into local cells, so that all members didn’t even personally know some other members. It was an underground organization.
At that time, homosexuality was hidden in society.
Contrast with today, with homosexuality being very open, sometimes brazenly so. But we see traditional political conservatism being driven underground instead, as we see in this story from the liberal Bay Area.
My son has the same problem in NYC.
The obvious question that begs to be asked is - why do we take it??
We’re supposedly the gun loving tough guys, yet we act like wimps.
Where are our protests? We’re letting Trump fight this war all alone. Why are they organized and we’re not?
Leave......please.......
I live in SoCal and I would never wear my Trump gear here because I fear for my safety..yet I still see people roaming around wearing Obama shirts and they are not harassed..No one should be harassed for their political beliefs but in this country if you are a Conservative the left wants you dead and the media goes right along with it because well, they are 100 percent liberal
off topic, but I was talking to someone recently, and they were shocked, just shocked, that I mention having listened to Rush Limbaugh. I don’t listen regularly, just off and on. I also listen to Dennis Prager sometimes, again off and on, not regularly.
So I wonder if this same concept applies to talk radio. Dare we mention to anyone that we even listen to talk radio??? That seems to be something that liberal types cannot understand.
Here in the SF Bay Area I still (very recently) have seen people wearing BO shirts. It’s like they are in some fantasy land where he’s still occupying the White House.
On the other hand, when I see someone wearing a red baseball cap (even though it’s not a MAGA cap, I don’t think people here would dare that) I smile, I think it’s a code signal.
I’m in the middle of deep red Arkansas, and I dare not speak out at work, church, or any other public place. No bumper stickers, yard signs, etc. The relatively few lefties we have here are like the Hitler youth, egging cars and displaying professional victimhood like they do everywhere else.
I was glad to hear that Disney's CEO did not boycott the business meeting with Trump last week. He said the meeting was originally planned for Thursday and was planning on attending, but the meeting was changed to Friday.
He had a board meeting to attend and sense he is Chairman of the Board he had to be there.
Disney is politically correct in most ways, but when it comes to kissing ass they don't care which party it is; so long as they get their special treatment.
Largely the same here in the shadow of the Seattlunatics.
Because we'd be wasting a lot of ammo if we didn't and they're not worth wasting ammo on...
They ought to bait the ambush.
Keeping things quiet means that not everyone who might be interested will hear about it. It means that the group cannot attract new members. It means that their first amendment rights are seriously impacted.
I don’t know folks. I think we have to keep airing these things in public. Let the real storm-troopers reveal themselves.
People get upset because Trump didn’t use the language a male pussy would use, and yet rioters, knocking people unconscious, kicking them when they are down, and destroying over $100,000 dollar worth of property goes without any criticism by the same people.
Leftists think the violence was called for (when it wasn’t), so it’s okay.
Trump’s words were called for, but they don’t think so, and they are not okay with them. Too bad!
There’s a real conflict when it comes to the outrage of the Left. They aren’t even consistent in their own minds.
Surely some folks on the Left can see that. Everyone else does.
Too bad there isn’t some mechanical device that allows a person to defend themselves from attackers at a distance that also negates differences in size, athleticism, and even numbers.
