Reddit has decided to ban two high-profile communities of the alt-right over what appears to be the posting and dissemination of personal information, otherwise known as doxing. The subreddit pages for r/altright and r/alternativeright are both inaccessible, with identical messages on both detailing a violation of Reddits content policy, specifically, the proliferation of personal and confidential information./p>
Its unclear right now who specifically was doxed, but chatter on Reddit alternative Voat suggests it was the man who punched alt-right figurehead Richard Spencer. In a statement, Reddit said it strives to be a welcoming, open platform all by trusting our users to maintain an environment that cultivates genuine conversation and adheres to our content policy.

No big deal. I do not like Reddit.
But we’d all like to buy that puncher a beer!
‘alt-right’ is a silly fabrication of the left. But, I guess if you repeat the lie enough times...
It doesn't matter if you like it or not.
Reddit is the 7th most popular website in the United States (Free Republic is number 3,011). Reddit is the king of internet forums. When they ban subreddits, it's a big deal.
If they ban The Donald, we’ve got problems
Seems like Free Republic is a superior forum.
Not to mention that The_Donald was a major force in the 2016 victory.
Do not understand why so many of FR think they can just pretend THIS is the only place that matters
“But wed all like to buy that puncher a beer!”
Not me. A racist who just talks is probably no threat to me or mine, but a leftist who attacks those he disagrees with in broad daylight in front of cameras is a threat to anyone and everyone.
You keep pretending that is the case.
A good clue is that when FR went down, no one on The_Donald even noticed for the entire time. None of the anti-SJWs on Twitter, Mindz, or YouTube even mention it.
For the young people, FR is barely on the radar.
OK, where’s the eyewash!!! No thanks - I’ll stick with The_Donald
The CEO of reddit is a leftist control freak. I was reading earlier of how a conservative was banned [for a week] from the politics subreddit for calling a leftist “predictable.” This was deemed a “personal attack.”
However, when leftist redditors *graphically* describe how Trump supporters want to fellate him, that is acceptable.
Trump supporters are only a "fringe group"?
How did he get elected?
What are the first 6?
tough
i bet some Reddit users have Stockholm Syndrome.
Damn straight! The Donald gets banned, 350,000 subscribers take to the streets!
I admit they simultaneously appall and intrigue me. Immature often, but impressive in their passion and intellect. You can’t sneer at a group who has hosted Q&A’s with Donald Trump, Tucker Carlson, Howie Carr, among many other noted right-siders. They are a force majeure.
They’re awful people. Hopefully at least some of them will grow out of it faster than their lousy Heinrich Himmler haircut can grow back in to something decent.
They can go back to dropping phony $20 bills printed with KKK/Nazi nonsense on the backside in discount supermarket parking lots.
