A Colorado state representative announced a bill Monday that would allow victims of certain crimes committed by illegal immigrants to sue state and local politicians who defy federal immigration authorities seeking to enforce the law, multiple news outlets are reporting.
Republican state Rep. Dave Williams, who is Hispanic, said he wants to strip the “immunity” from Democratic politicians who “place Coloradans in danger because of the sanctuary city policies that they created and continue to implement,” the Denver Post reported.

I have a better idea. Charge them with harboring illegal aliens. It is a federal felony.
You would have to sue the Mayor of each city of each state.

These politicians are acting outside federal law. Like Levin says they are forming a Confederacy. It’s just that it isn’t territorially contiguous.
Sue them or have a “vigorous conversation” with them after dark if you know what i mean....

Also, companies who try to influence opinion and policy on this should also be liable. Amazon, Starbucks, Microsoft to name a few.

No, one or two successful suits culminating in both financial and incarceration penalties, and these “mayors” will all start folding like cheap suits.
If your loved one were injured or killed by an illegal in a sanctuary city, you should have the right to sue THAT MAYOR and THAT GOVERNOR once the fed gov orders them to enforce immigration laws, and the mayor and/or governor speaks his refusal to obey.
I think Trump should make a presser about immigration right about now, give everyone 24-48 hours heads up, make it a big deal. And explain to the half of the country who is extremely mistaken about this temp ban being fascist or racist.
THEY ARE OFF THE RAILS and they are about 50% of the country. The loudest too.
Either we make all red states Federal income Tax sanctuary states or no more illegal alien sanctuary cities.

damn right we should be able to sue them for harboring illegals, and allowing this to happen if it is a murder, or injury.
Should a family member of mine ever be killed/harmed by an illegal invader the pols responsible for that invader being present in my local area will beg for forgiveness. His/her immediate family will beg for forgiveness. If living they will be forever in a place of destitution, salted earth and misery and loneliness. God have mercy on them.
It will be a most unfortunate day for many.
It is not as if I have not given sufficient thought to the matter.
It’s a good first step.
