Politics: Three months ago, Candidate Trump promised that on Day One of his presidency he would, if elected, "suspend immigration from terror-prone regions where vetting cannot safely occur." President Trump didn't get around to that until Day Seven, which means he was a week late. Yet everyone is acting as if this all came out of the blue.
The executive order Trump signed Friday afternoon instituted a 90-day suspension of immigrants from countries listed by the Obama administration as having a significant foreign terrorist organization presence. The reason is to give relevant agencies the breathing room to review their procedures and make sure that "adequate standards are established to prevent infiltration by foreign terrorists or criminals."
The order also suspends the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program for 120 days, giving Homeland Security and the Director of National Intelligence time to "determine what additional procedures should be taken" to make sure that terrorists aren't slipping in under the guise of refugees — a legitimate concern. It also sets a slightly lower 50,000 cap on refugees for this year than has been in effect over the past decade.
Trump's actions should not have come as a surprise to anyone who was paying even the slightest attention to the presidential campaign.

The DEMs and the MSM have no one to blame but themselves. They insisted making this campaign about Trump personally rather than deal primarily with the issues. All they pushed was the belief this was a historical moment for women.

Unfortunately, throwing tantrums en masse is the plan for every day of President Trump’s administration. Division, civil unrest, rioting, property damage, civil war, and assassination, are being advocated on a daily basis. Seditionists need to be prosecuted, and deported to whatever country in which they have citizenship, besides America. Anyone advocating for his assassination, should be immediately arrested and charged, according to the law. This business of hiring rioters is illegal and should be prosecuted.
No, they’ll have double headlines. Wait til Mitch McConnell removes the 60 vote requirement, when the democrats refuse to confirm ANY Supreme Court Justice, other than Garland. They actually stated that, today, that Garland is the only legal appointee. They’re still under the impression that they’re running things.
I agree. I keep hoping that FOX News will do a complete takedown of the Soros connection to these scumbags, but, so far, have been disappointed.

Those of us who voted for Trump are very happy that so far he is doing exactly what the people who voted for him asked for! I just got back from FB and had to fight the good fight there with some liberal family and friends who are so blinded by lies that they cannot see beyond their noses. I know, I know some good folks here advised to leave FB. It was so different 7 yrs ago however, if I leave now, who will continue the fight? I do have other family and friends who support my political and social beliefs but have chosen to stay silent and not rock the boat. I tried to be silent but silence is consent. So the fight goes on.
