The American Civil Liberties Union announced Saturday evening that a federal court in New York had issued an emergency stay on President Trump’s executive order banning immigration from seven predominantly Muslim countries. The court’s decision, which will affect people who have been detained in airports, came after the ACLU and other activist groups filed a class action lawsuit on behalf of two Iraqis who were held at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York as a result of the order.
“I hope Trump enjoys losing. He’s going to lose so much we’re going to get sick and tired of his losing,” ACLU national political director Faiz Shakir told Yahoo News shortly after the decision was announced.
The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment about the court ruling.

This reaction is not a surprise to team Trump. It explains why the ban is so limited. It is limited to a case they can easily win in court. Stupid libs jumped all over it and played into Trump’s hand. Once SC has upheld the ban then they will begin adding additional countries.

We are seeing the “poverty industry” gear up to bring more unproductive “clients” into this country. The teachers’ unions need students or they’ll lose their jobs as schools close, the whole social services racket will fold without a constant stream of clients for “public” housing, and bodegas want our tax dollars funneled through these instant welfare recipients (especially those with multiple wives bearing separate broods).

These people are delusional! The actual order only say the those detained could not immediately be sent back to their country of origin. It will be overturned immediately, because the plaintiffs have no standing at law in this case. Jonathan Turley said as much on CNN tonight, much to “Popies” dismay. ;-)

The ruling stops DHS from forcibly turning back a group of current visa holders arriving from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen.
