NBC’s Chuck Todd confessed that he and others in the mainstream news media played down just how despised Hillary Clinton was in the heartland due to the fear of appearing “sexist.”
What’s more, he admitted, the mainstream media failed to “tell the stories of all Americans.”
“Where I think political correctness got in the way of what we all knew as reporters and didn’t fully deliver was how hated the Clintons were in the heartland,” the “Meet the Press” host admitted Thursday to former Bush White House press secretary Ari Fleischer in a interview for the “1947” podcast.

I think that's exactly what he's admitting. But I don't think he understands that it's wrong.
In the same way -- although it may take months or years for him to recognize this -- the media is bending over backward to "get Trump". They are engaged in an all-out assault on the new President. But they don't think that's wrong. They don't think it's a miscalculation. They don't realize that MANY people are thrilled with everything Trump is doing.
But the day will come when Chuck Todd will say that the media knew Trump was a dynamic and successful president even before the inauguration but they "underplayed" it.
Is it bad of me to wish that Chuck Todd would spend the last 5 minutes of his life mangled in a ditch on fire?

The dead giveaway was the media couldn’t pan the 30,000 crowds in stadiums at trump rallies, nor the primary school cafeterias at Hillary rallies where 40 people were roped in a small area. Meanwhile, Fox Snooze was reporting oversampled polls reporting Hillary’s favorability ratings were higher than Trumps.
He is an idiot. The story wasn’t how much she was “hated” in middle America. The story was how corrupt and incompetent she was. Middle America recognized this. They didn’t “hate” her.
