Everyone seems to be mourning your exit from office, Amy wrote in the lengthy screed, posted on her mom Pattis Facebook page. Im glad youre gone. Im not delusional youre not a saint. You were a mediocre president with unoriginal ideas.
I thought you would finally right this wrong, she told Obama. You didnt have to pardon him, only commute the sentence. You just had to let him come home. You didnt. You released others, like Chelsea Manning or FALN terrorists, who actually committed reprehensible crimes, but you failed to release an innocent man.

While Blagojevich deserved a prison term, one cannot help, but to think that his sentence was excessive, in part, because it was helpful to shield Barack Obama, Valerie Jarrett and Rahm Emanuel from embarrassing disclosures that the incoming Obama administration had engaged in communications with Governor Blagojevich during the transition period about him appointing Jarrett to the US Senate to fill Obama's vacant seat.
She got the mediocre part wrong.
It’s nice to see the LefTards eating their own. Keep it up! America needs to keep seeing just who you people really are.
Sounds like she’s mad.
Bammie pardoned and commuted many many criminals. But not her dad.
Oh well.
I actually thought Ofail would pardon Blago.
Maybe he can negotiate a commutation with Trump by ratting out the Chicago crud.
If your dad wasn’t an arrogant egotistical crook that thought he was above the law he wouldn’t be in jail!! Unfortunately there is another one roaming around the woods of upstate New York that need to be behind bars.
Anyone with an ounce of common sense KNOWS Obama was involved with the Blagojevich matter. And if they were so naive that they didn’t realize it, they should have gotten a clue when the Obama Admin investigated itself and couldn’t find any wrongdoing. How many times did the Obama Admin investigate itself and find any wrongdoing???? ZERO. I really hope Sessions goes after Lois Lerner.....at the very least, she doesn’t deserve her taxpayer funded pension. Obama Admin=Criminals ALL
Dumb kid. She is too young to understand the Pay to Play routine. By now Blago is a poor dumb ex pol with a record. No way to come up with the minimum hunnerd grand it would have taken to get a commutation.
Sucks for them.
LOL...she might have p9ssed off obama by writing this. Dad might be getting worse treatment in prison soon.
Rod Blagojevich = White male.

Federal trial and conviction
FCI Englewood, where Blagojevich is located
Blagojevich was indicted by a federal grand jury in April 2009.[123] Most of the charges related to attempts to sell the Senate seat vacated by then-President-elect Barack Obama.[124] On August 17, 2010, he was convicted on one of the 24 federal charges, a charge of lying to the FBI, and the jury was hung on 23 other counts.[108] The defense did not call a single witness, claiming that prosecutors did not prove their case. Because the jury could not agree on the remaining charges, a mistrial was ordered for those counts. Within fifteen minutes after the mistrial was declared, the prosecution team announced that they would definitely pursue a retrial on the twenty-three mistrial counts. A post-verdict court date was set for August 23, 2010.
Federal prosecutors reduced the number of counts for Blagojevich’s retrial,[125] and on June 27, 2011, he was found guilty of 17 of the 20 remaining charges, not guilty on one, and no verdict was rendered by the jury on two counts.[126] He was found guilty on all charges pertaining to the senate seat, as well as extortion relating to state funds being directed towards a children’s hospital and race track. However, he was acquitted on a charge pertaining to the tollway extortion and avoided a guilty verdict (by split decision) on attempting to extort Rahm Emanuel.[127][128] On December 7, 2011, Blagojevich was sentenced to 14 years in federal prison.[129]
He reported to prison on March 15, 2012 at Federal Correctional Institution, Englewood near Littleton, Colorado.[130] His Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) number is 40892-424.[131] There is no parole in the Federal Prison System,[132] and under federal rules Blagojevich will serve at least 85 percent, or 12 years, of his sentence after which time he may be eligible for early release (in 2024) based on good behavior. He is the fourth Illinois governor to serve time in federal prison, after Otto Kerner, Jr., Dan Walker, and George Ryan.[133]
Because hair dyes are not allowed in prison, Blagojevich’s dark hair, which he was known for, soon turned white.[134][135]
Appeal
Attorneys for Blagojevich appealed the former governor’s conviction, citing issues of judicial bias by Zagel and a tainted jury pool. The defense has also long contended that there was critical evidence the jury never heard, including witness testimony and recorded phone calls that Zagel did not allow to be played during the trial. They have also argued that Blagojevich’s own testimony was restricted by Zagel’s rulings.[136]
In July 2013, attorneys for Blagojevich filed an appeal with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit in Chicago challenging the corruption conviction and the length of his prison term.[137] A three-judge panel of the Seventh Circuit heard arguments in the case in December 2013. In July 2015, the court unanimously overturned five of the corruption convictions, but affirmed the rest, including his convictions for attempting to sell Barack Obama’s vacant U.S. Senate seat after he was elected president. The court’s decision remanded to the district court for resentencing.[138] The Seventh Circuit denied Blagojevich’s request for rehearing en banc,[139] and in March 2016, the U.S. Supreme Court denied Blagojevich’s petition for a writ of certiorari, declining to hear the appeal.[140]
In August 2016, a resentencing hearing was held in the district court. Judge Zagel re-imposed the same fourteen-year sentence he had imposed in 2011. Zagel acknowledged the suffering of Blagojevich’s family and Blagojevich’s good conduct in prison, but found that Blagojevich’s corrupt conduct still warranted a fourteen-year sentence.[141]
I did too. I wonder if Blago will write a book when he gets out.
translation: Why didn’t you pardon my daddy??
I actually thought Ofail would pardon Blago.

Now that Blago is a poor dumb ex con; he has no money to pay for a pardon. But since that didn’t happen anyway - I’d love to see Blago spill his guts. Write a tell-all book. Go on the TV talk show circuits and explain all the corrupt and dirty deals he and Obama pulled off together.
Not that that would amount to anything now. We all know Obama is/was a crooked bastid. I’d just like to see Rod’s version of the story come out.
Blago crossed my mind about a week before the man child reign had expired.
Wonder who he p@ssed off because he has all the credentials to be a dem..crooked..check liar..check... power hungry...check..hypocrite..check.
I didn't. It was clear from the beginning, based in the swift prosecution and stiff sentence, that Blago must have done something to tick Obama off really bad. Don't know what he did, but what he was charged with was so trivial compared to what most Dem pols do every day.
Everyone seems to be mourning your exit from office,
No, no...I don’t think that’s quite right.
I don’t think Rod was part of the Chicago democrate club. He was an outsider. His wife Patti was the one with the connections. 14 years does seem a bit severe considering no money was ever exchanged for his attempt to sell the senate seat.
“Its nice to see the LefTards eating their own.”
YES! YESSS! I feel like Oliver Twist when I read this stuff.
