Chilis restaurants has cancelled a Planned Parenthood fundraiser that was being held at locations across two states after pro-life people complained. In an exclusive report a LifeNews.com yesterday, Chilis restaurants in two states were coming under fire from pro-life advocates for giving 15% of patrons meal purchases to the Planned Parenthood abortion business.
Earlier this week the Planned Parenthood abortion business affiliate in Indiana and Kentucky posted a promotional code its supporters could use to request that Chilis donate 15% of the pre-tax meal purchase to benefit the abortion corporation.
According to the image the abortion company posted, its supporters can bring the voucher to any of the identified Chilis locations participating in the give back program.

A business is extremely stupid to get involved in these matters.
This is what happens with the “socially conscious” idiocy that businesses are falling all over themselves to promote.
Good to hear, but Chili’s is already dead to me. They have embraced the leftist worldview long ago.
And this is the second time Chili’s has had to cancel.
Too late. You have already shown your hand.
There are plenty of other restaurants where I can eat.
Our Chili’s has such slow service and such mediocre food that it doesn’t have much business except the unfortunate travelers who stop along the interstate. It’s hard to see who in the management of this company thought that insulting over half the country by subsidizing baby killing would help their bottom line.
What’s the big deal?? Chili’s is just trying to help “weed the garden of humanity.”
Haven’t eaten there in a long long time. But then, in Obama world who goes out to eat? Answer: not me.
More winning.
Dear Mr. Mase,
At Chilis, we have a longstanding history and take pride in giving back to unite our local communities together. We recognize every community is unique, and encourage our restaurant managers and franchise partners to support causes that help bring communities together and leave a positive impact on our valued Guests, neighbors, friends and families we serve.
Yesterday, we learned that an independent franchise partner of Chilis in Indiana and Kentucky made the decision to host a Chilis Give Back Event on behalf of Planned Parenthood Indiana and Kentucky. While our franchise partner had the best intentions, we have received growing feedback and concern from community members regarding the Give Back Event. This feedback does not reflect Chilis focus on bringing communities together and the event was never intended to be viewed as a partisan event or political statement, therefore we, along with our franchise partner, have decided to cancel the event.
We will more clearly communicate the focus of Chilis charitable giving efforts, so that our restaurant managers and franchise partners can feel empowered to support local organizations that bring communities together.
Sincerely,
Chili's Guest Engagement Team
They must have been overwhelmed with responses like mine. Why any franchisee would see this as a good way to win friends and influence people is just mind-boggling.
Chili’s has gone downhill over the past few years. Their food just isn’t that good anymore.
Is the new corporate motto
“Killing Future Customers”
Chili’s want to bring the subject, if not the actual pieces, of ripped apart unborn children to the dinner table?
Kudos to you for taking action.
Activism is one lesson we can learn from the left. We on the right are much too polite and just take it. Time to step up and actively promote our values.
“Thanks! Your frozen and reheated enchilada just paid for an abortion in your town!! Care For desssert?”
Sanger’s reason is the only reason they are “pro-choice”.
The only thing on their menu I like is chili - and you have to look hard for that on the menu as its a side-dish.
Good.
Ha! “Is the new corporate motto “Killing Future Customers”?”
OR KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken)? I think that one is
already taken. - We’ve NEVER been to “Chili’s” and for
sure won’t go now.
