Trump stirs fear with voter fraud probe.

President Trump stirred bipartisan controversy on Wednesday by pledging to launch a “major investigation” into his baseless claim that widespread voter fraud cost him the popular vote in the 2016 presidential election.

Trump’s assertion that as many as 3 million illegal ballots were cast has been disputed by news organizations, state attorneys general and academics who study voter fraud claims. Even Trump’s own legal team conceded last year that there was no evidence of widespread fraud in the election, as part of a court challenge against a recount effort in three Midwestern states.

Trump reiterated the charge in a Monday meeting with congressional leaders. After a reporter asked White House press secretary Sean Spicer Tuesday why Trump wouldn’t investigate whether such widespread voter fraud had occurred, Trump called for a “major investigation” in a Wednesday tweet.

Send a public records request (PRR) to officials in California.

Who issued the decree to delete the database field from the record? That appears to be a destruction of public property and potential evidence. There has to be a name associated with this directive.

Send the PRR to the DMV, General Services, the Governor, and the Attorney General.

My kid has been gone since 1998 and the name still appears on the rolls at the local precinct.

I have complained to the registrar several times and gotten nowhere. That is life in slow lane of California. The golden state for voter fraud.

Remember California broke and the CalPERS cow has mastitis.

That’s exactly what I’ve been saying. He and his people ran a highly sophisticated Big Data / data analytics-driven campaign. I think he already knows where the bodies are buried.

The gall of the media saying there is no voter fraud when Obama blatantly instructed illegals to do just that makes my blood boil.

Democrats have a reason to fear.

President Trump does not make statements like this unless he already has the evidence to convict and he’s already won the game. Now he’s giving the future defendants enough rope to hang themselves as they scramble to engage in an illegal cover up.

The amount of fraud is more likely to be 10 to 15 million.

Well, as the left said about domestic spying: if you have nothing to hide, then you have nothing to worry about.
If there’s nothing to hide, they have nothing to fear.

Approximately 57.5% of the eligible voters in the US cast ballots in 2012. In 20 Philadelphia wards voter turnout was 97% or greater. Probability on a par with Hillary's cattle futures profits. Voter Fraud

My recollection is that in this last election cycle Obama encouraged an illegal women to vote, telling her there was nothing to worry about ... it was OK. That clip has to be around somewhere and FOX news should show it ...

Trump stirs fear with voter fraud probe.

My crystal ball shows that without illegal voters the drat party will disappear into the dustbin of history.

As opposed to the baseless claim by Democrats that Russia "hacked" the election in Trump's favor.

It has been suggested that many of the folks who winter in Florida vote there and at their summer homes as well.

First, I would investigate what California officials are doing RIGHT NOW, to cover up, destroy, and alter documents or databases that would indicate that there was, in fact, illegal voting in their state

That would be one reason why they are deleting the illegal alien disclaimer on the driver's license for illegals.

Otherwise Federal agents could cross reference to the voting rolls.

Looks like Trump just smoked out the biggest criminal enterprise of all.

If there is nothing there, no fraud found, then we all hold hands and sing songs of unity.

It’s not like the money is going to be spent on a useless endeavor. How many stories do we hear about govt. grants to study the sex-lives of butterflies, or snails, or some such?

Yep, agree. But such activity should be written about extensively in Trump’s report. Random sampling of voters on lists and then cross-checking those voters with actual addresses and locations will still provide a reference point of illegal voting.

If Juan Valdez voted in Sacramento, the voting rolls are supposed to have Juan’s name and address listed. Go to Juan’s home just like a census worker would and verify the voter role. I bet such a randomized sampling will turn up a LOT of discrepancies. And if voter databases have been tampered with by CA officials, then people will need to go to prison.

Why would an illegal register to vote, unless they actually planned to vote?

"Social pressure." No kidding, that's what they're rolling out. Peer pressure. Because ALL the really cool kids are registering to vote, but don't actually go vote. It's just WAY HIP to say you're registered. It's like underage drinking or smoking or experimenting with drugs. Social pressure, man, gets you every time. Makes you do stuff you would NEVER consider.
