De Blasio threatens lawsuit over Trump's move on sanctuary cities

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio (D) is threatening to sue President Trump's administration in response to an executive order signed Wednesday to strip federal grants from "sanctuary" cities, Politico reported.

"President Trump issued an executive order today and it's purported purpose was to enhance public safety, but here in New York City and in cities across this nation this executive order could in fact undermine public safety,” de Blasio said during a press conference at City Hall.

De Blasio said the "potential funding cuts suggested in the executive order would first and foremost fall on the NYPD."

There are "hundreds of American cities where this executive order could undermine public safety," he added.

De Blasio also said the city would not "deport law abiding New Yorkers."

Implement in the name of National Security and claim immunity from all lawsuits. Defend that until they are broken.

De Blasio threatens lawsuit

De Blasio should be slapped with a big fat lawsuit, on behalf of victims of any and all violent criminals that he’s been sheltering, aiding and abetting.

As long as all sanctuary cities are targeted throughout the country at once there is no case for violation of equal protection under the law.

To bring a suit that there is discrimination is like bringing a law suit against the police for detaining a suspect they caught robbing a bank because the police has illegally detained that person. Sanctuary cities are “robbing a bank”, they are caught in the act of violating federal law aiding abetting a felony.

“this executive order could in fact undermine public safety,”

Further proof liberalism is a mental disorder.

New York City govt officials could be engaged in INCOME TAX FRAUD by concealing CRIMINAL IDENTITIES from the Federal Government. B/C many illegals work off the books and do not pay payroll taxes.

If NYC govt officials changed computer codes to hide tax fraud by illegals that could also entail a govt agency committing crimes of electronic fraud.....and should be investigated by the FBI Electronic Fraud Unit.

It is also possible NYC govt officials committed other federal offenses including but not limited to:

<><> Title 18 U.S.C. §1341, Mail Fraud, 18 U.S.C.§1001, Presenting a False Document to an Agent of the US Government (involves several felonies and could include forgery);

<><> 18 U.S.C.§1027 False statements and concealment of facts in relation to documents required by the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 and other possible offenses including civil and/or criminal RICO violations.

<><> 18 U.S.C. §§1961-68 (RICO Act)18 U.S.C. §1001 (making false Statements to Agents of the US Government),

<><> 18 U.S.C. §241(Conspiracies Against Civil Rights).

<><> Possibly full investigations centering on RICO conspiracies under 18 U.S.C. §1962(c) could be warranted because (1) the persons (2) were employed by or associated with an enterprise (3) that engaged in or affected interstate commerce and that (4) the persons operated or managed the enterprise (5) through a “pattern” (6) of racketeering activity, and (7) the taxpayers were injured by reason of the “pattern” of racketeering activity.

<><> Alleged Offenses could include Violation of Title 18 U.S.C. §241 – Conspiracy Against Constitutional Rights – which prohibits in relevant part, “two or more persons (from conspiring) to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the Constitution or laws of the United States, or because of his having so exercised the same . . .” See, 18 U.S.C. §241.

Taxpayers demand the following agencies commence investigations at once:

<><> FBI — Wire Fraud Division

<><> IRS-Fraud Unit

<><> Department of Justice’s Office of the Inspector General,

<><> Department of Commerce’s Office of Inspector General.

<><> DOJ’s Criminal Division— Public Integrity Section

<><> DOJ Criminal Division—Organized Crime and Gang Section.

De Blasio said the “potential funding cuts suggested in the executive order would first and foremost fall on the NYPD.”

I.E. If Trump does this, the first ones to be stiffed will be the cops. Good plan, Mr. FAKE NAME COMMIE.

There are “hundreds of American cities where this executive order could undermine public safety,” he added.

Only if they ‘stick it’ to their police forces like DeBlasio said he will do.

De Blasio also said the city would not “deport law abiding New Yorkers.”

Deporting foreigners illegally living in the US is a Federal Issue, not a State Issue.

It will take 30 years to replace all of the far left-wing activist federal judges that liberals run to whenever they file one of these baseless political lawsuits.

Good news. He will be spending a lot of NYC money on litigation. His city will also face lawsuits from the Feds for not following Federal law which does have supremacy especially in the area of borders and immigration. On top of all that, federal money for projects and programs will be withheld. Big city residents can enjoy their bigger property tax bills.

NYC will never defeat the Feds in the game of lawfare. the commie mayor also risks investigation of illegal voter schemes and potentially criminal investigations involving his staff and the mayor’s office.

It is wise for Trump to directly attack the big city rulers. This is the major and last bastion of popular Leftist support. The Dems own everything in the big cities, it’s their Achille’s heel. This is a target rich environment for litigation and media exposure with all the bad educational polices, crime, corruption, waste etc. etc.

Typical lib politician. Trash the police to get the minority votes and then use them as pawns for political expediency, or in this case a potential loss of federal money. I never thought I would see the absolute liberal meltdown occurring now, but oh what fun it is to watch! They’re getting their long overdue comeuppance for the sh** they’ve done to this country!

this isn’t surprising. I expect hundreds of lawsuits, press outrage, vids of families torn apart, on and on.
this will be a major battle in the war between the urbans and the suburbans/rurals.
I think it will be as ugly as anything we have seen.
I welcome it, personally. I think our country has become so polarized that a major catharsis where frank discussion about contributors and takers from society is the subject.

Trump needs to support the victims of the crimes of illegals in sanctuary cities in their lawsuits against the cities.

When their insurance carrier skyrockets their liability premium, the sanctuary cities will comply.

You’re threatening to file a lawsuit because Trump is enforcing the law? Good move, De Blasio, very smart.

He doesn’t care one bit about “with who’s money.” He obviously thinks that the tax payer’s money is his own personal slush fund. He just spent MILLIONS of other people’s money on organizing and promoting that angry women parade in the city.

I understand he doesn’t care, and God knows our state AG won’t (unless Cuomo wants him to), but the Feds will if Kaiser Wilhelm is misappropriating funds to finance the suit.
