In many school districts, they have zero tolerance concerning guns (drawings, fingers pointing like a gun, ...). Fire the teacher.
I want her seized and detained pending a warrant on her home and computers. That is a woman that should not be around children.
These people have absolute control of your kids for 6-8 hours a day.......................
Exactly. This is entirely uncalled for.
The hipocracy never stops. If a student did this, they’d be expelled with a criminal investigation? Or would they be hailed a hero if doing same as teacher?
Just bringing the water gun to school would bring on charges.
Fire yes. Everything else is ridiculous.

Doesn’t a squirt gun violate the strict “no gun” policy of the school district? You can’t even draw a picture of a gun in school these days and this teacher brings in an actual working “gun” and uses it to try to kill a picture of Donald Trump (obviously in front of her class).
She needs to be visited by the Secret Service (not the Denver office - who’s head would probably join her in the party) and then fired and then visited by the men in the white coats.

And yet a student who makes a gun shape out of a piece of bread or a corn chip would likely face immediate suspension.

What happened to zero tolerance. Students can’t bring pop tarts to school for fear they’ll be arrested for biting out a corner and it looking like a gun. Honor Roll students have been suspended and runining their class rank because they had plastic picnic knives in their cars. So, fire the teacher. Rules apply fairly to everyone.
What disturbs me most about this is her horrible judgement to post it online for all to see. The act itself is stupid (and may require a visit from the Secret Service), but for a teacher of children to be this dense is eye-opening. Did she think there’d be no repercussions? I’d never want her teaching my children.
Situational ethics... A child chews out a pop tart into the rough shape of a gun and he is expelled from the school for life.
A ‘teacher’ brings a fake gun to school and shoots at an image of a sitting president and it is no problem....
Must be nice not having to face the real world and its consequences!
Somebody needs to report her to the state board of ed to have her teaching certificate suspended or revoked.
Shouldn’t take to long in this virtual age.
Cant wait to see her response when she is ID’d.
