It wasn't just the EPA.
Earlier today, we reported that the Trump administration instituted a media blackout at the Environmental Protection Agency and barred staff from awarding any new contracts or grants.
Emails sent to EPA staff since President Donald Trump's inauguration on Friday and reviewed by The Associated Press, detailed the specific prohibitions banning press releases, blog updates or posts to the agency's social media accounts. On Monday, the Huffington Post reported that EPA grants had been frozen, with agency employees barred from speaking of the matter. The memo ordering the social media blackout is shown below.

just a few...the word will get back
“Failure to comply with any statement, clause, phrase, sentence or paragraph of this directive will result in immediate termination with no appeal.”
They are most likely dug in very deep. Willie Pete might work? Or enough HE to collapse the upper levels?
Sometimes you must destroy the garden, in order to save it.
Yep being on the phone or taking pictures with it are firing offenses.
When they violate the order, automatic termination in most cases I would imagine. Very cool. I’ll bet there will be quite a few commie morons that can’t help themselves.
I also saw it, passing a long a link
[[Great; but we need to take our case against environmental extremism to the public, or those fanatics are going to be back. There are some effective conservative groups out there who could effectively use some donations.]]
He did it to silence that rats in the EPA that are pushing the global warming agenda all over social media.
EPA is a propaganda tool for the left . Needs to be cleaned out and this the beginning of it.
I think we’re better off if they’re working at Burger King and staying off our payroll altogether....lol
This EPA?
EPA Says It Released 3 Million Gallons Of Contaminated Water Into River.
An estimated 1 million gallons of waste water spilled out of an abandoned mine area in the southern part of the state last week, turning the Animas River orange and prompting the Environmental Protection Agency to tell locals to avoid it.
http://edition.cnn.com/2015/08/09/us/colorado-epa-mine-river-spill/ “Fundamentally changed pristine clean rivers of America!”
This is a “little thing” compared with the big stuff Trump is going to do and has done, but it’s a perfect example of “The Adults are Back in Control”.
Shut down their little backdoor leaker-accounts, put people back to doing their real jobs, or if they try testing the seriousness of this policy, let them see how if feels to kiss a cushy gov’t pension bye-bye.
Absolutely! That would be great for us. Not so great for Burger King though :)
I think that there is another element to this. The Feds in general seem to have some serious issues with cyber security and leaks. Getting a handle on it will involve coming up with rules and procedures that people will actually follow, and until that happens the less said by butthurt Hillary supporters the better.
The swamp dwellers voted overwhelmingly for Hillary, many feel they are on the way out and may do stupid stuff before they get axed. It’s just good policy dealing with the reality of the situation, something we are going to have to get used to again.
M1911A1 - the best side arm ever made. No arguments with your post either.

Rank and file government employees shouldn’t be doing social media either. This memo is directed at those in each agency whose jobs are social media, ie, press releases, agency websites, etc.
They can be SJWs on their own time, post-Trump.
EPA has had a scam with the cooperation of the environmental groups. They are able to send a lot of money to the environmental groups to fund the groups legal suits against the EPA and then when the groups win they get a nice pay off.
That needs to end tomorrow morning.
“dont fire em; send em to pt. barrow, alaska for some AGW studies.”
Not that far South. I believe there is a weather station at Thule, Greenland and they have all the tools they need to do AGW studies.
Besides, living on the Greenland Ice Sheet would be exciting and oh so scenic.
