Sunday on NBCs Meet The Press, during a very contentious interview, President Donald Trump aide Kellyanne Conway told host Chuck Todd, Were going to have to rethink our relationship here, if he continued to ask why press secretary Sean Spicer told a falsehood, about Trumps inaugural crowd size.
Todd asked, Im curious why president trump chose yesterday to send out his press secretary to essentially litigate a provable falsehood when it comes to a small and petty thing like inaugural crowd size. my question to you is why do that?
After her answer Todd again said, You did not answer the question. ..."
Conway said Chuck, if were going to keep referring to our press secretary in those types of terms, I think we are going to have to rethink our relationship here. I want a great open relationship with our press.

Does Chuckie even have one of them things?
Wow. Didn’t know that. Thank goodness this 8 year nightmare is over.
BEcause they can’t let go. PTrump is the Tar Baby. People love it when he fights with them. They can’t let go of the money but he always wins.
Looks like NBC wants to burn its bridge to the WH too.
Cool. Who needs `em? The MSM is worse than useless.
Press secretary Sean Spicer was calling out the media manipulation and lies. The media showed early pictures before the main activity, before crowds arrived, and tried to pass it off as later pictures. Also, the event in 2009 and 2013 did not have all the security barricades evident in 2017, which allowed the general populace to flow in from all sides. The 2017 event was more restrictive in keeping anti-Trump activists from disrupting the event, so the barricades and security somewhat restricted the flow of people and that's why early pictures were more empty. Later pictures showed a larger crowd in place for the event. The media purposely manipulated information to be in a negative light. The anger by Spicer is not over the numbers, it's about the lies of the media.
The crowd thing is kind of petty.
Who cares?
He had a great turnout and they really should ignore this Hill of beans and move on with their agenda.
Yeah...these charges against false news are letting the journos know that false or slanted news will be called out.they think that they can say anything true or false without consequence..really its time to call your info providers and tell them you will cancel if they keep on sending you false or slanted or yellow jounalism reporting in their packages
I disagree. Trump and his spokespeople should be punching back hard ever time the media lies. It’s not about the crowd size, it’s about the lying, fake news and lack of respect. They should never ever let up on the lying biased media.
you unjustly included Roger Ailes in the photo. That indicates you are profoundly naive
Spicer said Were Going to Hold the Press Accountable!
Some members of the media were engaged in deliberately false reporting
Conway was good at saying we are going to have to rethink the relationship. She could have re-iterated Spicer, and then pointed directly at Chuck Todd and said that CNN is one of the worst at creating and spreading #FAKENEWS!
CNN, NBC, etc., needs this to be continually thrown at them. Be ready with some specific examples, like the recent Russian hack stuff, and include how CNN is now the least trusted media, and is nothing more than a tv version of a supermarket checkout tabloid.
Both Kellyanne and Sean were referring to the total crowd size including TV and internet. As far as physicial attendance, as lurkinandloomin indicated earlier on the thread, the wide angle shot showed more than Obama 2009. I think you needed tickets to get in the area between the Capitol Building and the Washington Monument.
It is obvious that this was a TEST, to see how much fakery and lies Trump's people would tolerate. They decided to start with something fairly petty, like how many people were present at the inauguration and fake that up, taking pictures of the mall at vastly different times between the Odungo inauguration and the Trump inauguration. If Trump's people let this blatant manipulation pass unchallenged, they would then go on to bigger and worse LIES. But Trump's people proved they were right up to the net on this issue. So let's see how many more tries the filthy despicable MSM will make to present fake or blatantly biased versions of "news" which presents Trump in a bad light. Anyone who relies on the MSM for their news must be incredibly naive or just plain too lazy or apathetic to look for more reliable sources.

To add to your accurate observation — American conservatives are almost all individualists, and as such tend to despise “collective action”, mass protests, group identity politics, etc.
And as P.J. O’Rourke observed many years ago, lefties can always beat us on mob turnout, because we have “jobs.”
Yep. I remember going to the Pro-2A counter protest in DC in the late-1990s. The so-called “Million Mom March” had maybe 75,000 losers sprinkled throughout the mall. I saw the crowds for Promise Keepers, that was a million +. The million morons had almost nothing. Easy way to tell? How delayed was the Metro, how hard was it to get through L’Enfant Plaza and Metro Center? For the moms, no delays, cars were fuller than on a normal workday but not terrible. For the Promise Keepers, you literally couldn’t move in the city for most of the day.
But the moms on the train were crowing about how they had gotten over a million people to march for gun control. And the press grossly over reported and dialed in on the concentrations at low angle to magnify the crowd.
Try that link again...
Remember when the Tea Party came to Washington and the news media lied about the size saying it was smaller then it really was?
