WASHINGTON – In a last major act as president, Barack Obama cut short the sentences of 330 federal inmates convicted of drug crimes on Thursday, bringing his bid to correct what he's called a systematic injustice to a climactic close.
With his final offer of clemency, Obama brought his total number of commutations granted to 1,715, more than any other president in U.S. history, the White House said. During his presidency Obama ordered free 568 inmates who had been sentenced to life in prison.

Do you have any idea how much money was spent to bring those guys to trial, prove the cases against them, and finally get them sent off to prison?
For those 1,700 or so people Obama has pardoned, we may be talking $100 million to $500 million or more.
Think of the untold damage these guys were responsible for.
You don’t get sent to prison for life, for steal cup-cakes.
Maybe he would be willing to introduce his daughters to these fine, upstanding victims of an unjust system?

He sure doesn’t mind other people’s daughters having to face them on the streets.
He’s still got hours to go.
Will Obama leave Hillary to ultimately face accountability for her criminal acts without a pardon?
Or will he grant a pre-emptive pardon, marking her forever as one guilty of criminal acts and needing a presidential pardon to protect her from prosecution?
Shows where this POS’s priorities are huh?
There will be statistics.
Someone will report on them. The public will yawn.
Except for those who become their victims and their families.
Just like the illegals driving all over the country.
Those criminals will be killed within months. It is their nature to do stupid things to make it happen.
The clear issue is that many of these prisoners pleaded to much lesser charges in their trials that resulted in their long sentences. You don’t get life for a baggie of pot.
I’m concerned that these cases are being reviewed in such a shallow fashion (like most things 0bama has done) based upon the typical ideological symbolism that some intensely bad dudes are being let out.
So in typical 0bama fashion, we get to pay for the law enforcement that captured these guys, the trial, the court-appointed lawyer, the imprisonment, pensions for everyone involved, and now we can repeat the whole thing as very non-trivial numbers of them re-offend. 1271 pardons granted, I think it’s safe to say 50 murders will be committed in 3 years.
