It sure DID seem right at home. “Yo, Mom, don’cha recognize me?”
I haven’t even checked the DNN nest yet this year. You’re right about that eagle having a sweet expression. Doesn’t happen often, does it?

No it doesn’t. It was hanging out on its favorite branch, just taking it all in. They had been doing some nestorations earlier. :)

I’ll have to remember to check the nest Friday. Will be gone most of the day tomorrow - Republican Women’s meeting at 11 in one town, then visit Aunt Clara in a different town afterwards. It’ll be about time to deal with cat suppers and our supper by the time I get home. MIGHT have a minute or two for nest watching before I head out in the morning but I’m not holding my breath on that. LOL

Thank you Kathy!
Payroll day is not fun especially with system issues.
Have a great day!

Oooo...are y’all going to have a shindig for the inauguration? I guess I’ll have to watch on the computer. Hubby would pout like crazy if I commandeered the tv! LOL!
Oh, we have a little one in the guest room, but no where comfy to sit. It’s strictly used for football by the preacher who stays with us and glances at it as he studies his lessons.
Plus, it’s been so long since I watched tv, I don’t know where any of the channels are. LOL!

Hi Everybody!
My Sis and B-I-L took me to a terrific concert tonight, Marc Broussard. He sounded like “The Allman Brothers Meet James Brown”! WONDERFUL BAND!
Unfortunately, it was in Harvard Square, so I was literally in the belly of the beast. Probably the only Conservative within a ten mile radius!

Stay warm, Sand...
Right now it is -13.5 at my house. But I’m inside and looking out at the beautiful snow. I will leave the lower cupboard doors open under the sink, just in case. I don’t want any frozen pipes.

I don’t know if there are plans for a shindig or not. Haven’t heard anything about one. It might be brought up at our monthly meeting tomorrow.
I do plan to get up early to watch the inauguration but I’ll watch it on tv. That’s the extent of any plans I’ve made.

We made it safely home. VERY slick roads.
I’m off duty. She’s in charge, and she’s already had an eye/ear full. She’s knows most from just the phone, but in person is very different.

Off duty at last. YAY for that! This break was sorely needed.
I can easily imagine those roads are slick after all the snow and freezing fog y’all have had the past week. Glad you made the trip there and back safely.
Bet the cold was a shock for your sister! -15 is showing on the cam page and that’s awfully cold, especially leaving southern CA to go up there. OUCH!!

Thanks for the heads up! I was off doing a few things and missed it. Sure am glad we can roll back the video on that cam! Hope to get a scap or two before I have to shut things down and go to bed. 9:00 is going to roll around far too soon to suit me in the morning. LOL
