On Friday, Jan. 20, any profits made at Bouldin Creek Cafe, a vegetarian establishment, will go directly to the American Civil Liberties Union, Planned Parenthood, and the Southern Poverty Law Center.
Owner Leslie Martin said it's a way to protest the inauguration and "maintain hope" in their community.
"We wanted to make a statement," Martin said. "We have concerns about gay rights, minorities - how they're going to be treated and how their civil rights will be protected. There were a large number of people that we feel are living in fear right now wondering what's going to happen."

I do my best to ban Austin, period.
That is the correct way to fund charities, not with tax dollars. Good for them. Now, we need to eliminate all tax funding to all charities. Those that endure are the ones the people want.
Why stop at one day? Donate all profits, all the time. Show how socialism really should work.

We have a group here in Texas studying methods of “reverse secessioning” Austin out of Texas.
We could give them to North Korea or Venezuela. They would be much happier eating grass and tree bark. It’d be like organic, man.

I haven’t been to Austin-AKA the San Fran of Texas-for years-have no intention of going there again unless all the liberals infesting it move to Seattle, the real San Fran, LA, Portland, NYC, etc...
