President-elect Donald Trump met with a Princeton University physicist and skeptic of man-made global warming who observers believe could be the next White House science czar.
Trump met with Dr. Will Happer in New York City Friday. Happer didnt take any questions entering or leaving Trump Tower last week, so its hard to say what the meetings were about. Trump has yet to fill key energy and science roles in his administration.
Happer served as the director of the Office of Energy Research at the Energy Department under former President George H.W. Bush. Trump could ask Happer to head the White Houses Office of Science and Technology Policy or even sit on the Presidents Council of Advisors on Science and Technology.
Trump has already taken heat from environmentalists for appointing climate deniers to his cabinet, but skeptics of man-made global warming were delighted to hear of the meeting.

Would be quite AWESOME to have someone who actually pays attention to the SCIENCE in that office, rather than someone who simply panders to environmentalist wackos.
I hope the Science Czar is skeptical about ANY bandwagon science. A non-skeptical scientist is an alchemist or mystic.
Pres. Trump, PLEASE make it So!
Let’s get rid of the “czar” term.
I want Trump to crush the enemy, to drive them before him, and hear the lamentations of their wymyn.
Agreed.
All they have to do is say “WE ARE 100% AGAINST POLLUTION” and leave it at that.
“Climate Change” is a made up religion that exists mainly to have multi-$billon dollar conferences and agreements, that mostly promote one-world government.
NOT ending pollution.
Keep saying it over and over and over.

...
They aren’t deniers or skeptics at all. They just don’t think that human activity contributes very much to the climate based on the available evidence.
Trump the barbarian...hope he knows the riddle of steel or Crom will laugh at him and cast him out of Valhalla...
Flesh grows weak. Steel becomes brittle. But the will is indomitable.
No Deniers for me, thats non-scientific, Skeptics, however, are much welcomed!
Darn, I was hoping for Mark Steyn!
Seriously, this would be great.
I like it, except that we really shouldn’t have any Czars in the United States Government.
Yes, No CZARS period.
Yes, No CZARS period.
Global warming is nothing more than a scheme to transfer wealth from rich countries to poor ones through the sale of carbon credits. Every "solution" boils down to this.
As you said, it has nothing to do with pollution whatsoever.
It's even worse than that.
Everything you need to know about the climate change agenda was stated quite clearly by the UN's top climate official in 2015:
"This is probably the most difficult task we have ever given ourselves, which is to intentionally transform the economic development model, for the first time in human history.
"This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined period of time to change the economic development model that has been reigning for at least 150 years, since the industrial revolution. That will not happen overnight and it will not happen at a single conference on climate change, be it COP 15, 21, 40 - you choose the number. It just does not occur like that. It is a process, because of the depth of the transformation."
--Christiane Fugueres, Executive Secretary of UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change)
Maybe he doesn’t know the riddle of steel, but he knows how to crush his enemies....
How many more can there be?
Russia has czars.
America shouldn’t.
