After many hours of hard work, I’ve put together an exhaustive list of the prominent celebrities who chose not to perform at President Obama’s inaugural ceremonies in 2009 and 2013 because they were threatened with death, boycotts, or ostracism. The grand total, to my knowledge, is zero, despite the right’s deep antipathy of Barack Obama.
But when it comes to the inauguration of Donald Trump, Andrea Bocelli, the wonderfully gifted, blind operatic tenor, has decided not to perform, despite being a friend of the president-elect. And reports indicate that it was not just because he was threatened with a boycott; rather, it was because of death threats that his security team deemed too serious to ignore.
Broadway star Jennifer Holliday has also dropped out of the inaugural festivities after being branded an “Uncle Tom.” (I thought Uncle Tomes were male, by definition.) Claiming she didn’t realize that performing at the inauguration would be interpreted as supporting the president (really?), she wrote, “My only choice must now be to stand with the LGBT community and to state unequivocally that I will not perform for the welcome concert or for any of the inauguration festivities.”

With Inauguration day riots and property destruction planned, so much for a peaceful transition. These soon to be marauding Democrats are animals.
Threats against those who would perform services for the president are threats to the president. This violence against all republicans must stop - the law of political correctness dictates as much, as does the laws that protect the president from threats against his life - these threats against his “employees or those contracted to do work for him” are a thinly veiled assault on him personally.
I take the threats seriously. Throughout history, the left has always imposed its will through violence and intimidation. The fact that, after 8 years of Obama, they feel much more comfortable with threatening, intimidating, and actually committing violence against anyone who doesn’t embrace their radical leftism is very troubling.
Prior to the election, I even saw a couple of leftists posting that they were eager for Hillary to be president, so that they could start rounding up the Conservatives (presumably for the “final solution”).
While some of the over-the-top snowflake reactions to the election of Donald Trump have been hilarious, we should not let the humor mask the fact that the left is fundamentally ugly, evil, and profoundly dangerous.

The left always brings suffering and death in one form or another.
I actually prefer the “print” page. It loads faster and there are FAR fewer ads. So I have to cancel the actual printing operation, big deal, I’m still reading the article without pop-ups, pop unders, malware and spyware, and 4,872,931 ads slowing my computer.
Just do what you prefer, let those who wish to complain do so...

Has anyone considered the prospect that all this supposed outrage might just be FAKE?? Think of Rush Limbaugh and how he was Targeted by a Handful of Individuals using sophisticated bots to create FAKE OUTRAGE and caused him to lose Advertisers, until he Got to the bottom of it and exposed the farce
Mike, I wouldn't give them that much press time. If we all just let them rant and rave without acknowledging they exist, perhaps soon they will find out how irrelevant they truly are.
Let the drug heads free from prison to make room for spoiled child Democrat rioters and harassers.
