Democrats love to claim that the Republicans opposed Obama from day one, but what he faced is nothing compared to the attacks and the public statements on the part of the Democrat leaders in Congress on how they will not support Trump in any way.

Of course he’s gonna face resistance. This is why people voted for him. They knew about the uniparty’s bipartisan destruction of our country.

They’re still clinging to polls.

Polls told us that Trump was going to lose Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, and that Ohio was a tight race.

Some people love Obama on a personal level - or at least harbor no hatred - but think his policies are abysmal. Others love Trump’s policies but feel he is personally a buffoon and simply would like him to stop tweeting. The polls could possibly show the results based on the above statements, depending on how the survey is worded.

Oh, 0bama face opposition from day 1. We just didn’t burn the house down. We were civil in our actions, even our marches and protests left the place cleaner than when we arrived.

We took our displeasure to the ballot box in 2010, 2012, and 2014 to finally culminate in Republican Governorship, a Republican House, Senate, and Presidency in 2016. Not just Republican either, but conservative or tea party too!

All along the Democrats kept thinking the battles they were winning meant they had won. For whatever reason, they didn’t see the losses they were taking were fatal to their positions and party.

We still have a lot of work to do as these events these past few months demonstrate the deep entrenchment of a failed democrat ideology. They behave as though they have not had over a decade to accomplish their agenda. As though we, conservatives, controlled their agenda or even stopped it.

It amazes me how well they are able to keep people agitated, fearful, and upset. The level of hysteria and paranoia we see is truly unprecedented, but that is exactly where the democrat/progressive wants them to be. They are using the group think method to invoke the ‘fight or flight’ response.

I for one am tired of the hysteria. We find ourselves looking at them and thinking, “What the hell is wrong with you?” It isn’t a slander against them, it is seriously a statement of amazement at the unfounded reactions.

Thanks for the post. It's good to see what WSJ says every once in a while so we can be sure to see our enemies clearly.

From the article...

Hey Janet Hook, do you truly believe Trump "derided" Hillary supporters and "reveled" in his election victory?

Or are you just saying that because the editors expect you to discredit the incoming President? Open your eyes, speak the truth, and stop presstituting yourself for a lousy paycheck!

John Lewis and every other person Trump has criticized has deserved every bit of the censure Trump gave them.

Lewis has failed to pay respect to the Office of the Presidency and is seeding the destruction of our people's republic that has delivered equal opportunity for all.

67% viewed Mr. Obama positively in December 2008

Lies , lies and more damn lies. This halfrican never had more than a 40% favorability rating and the only reason he was not shot was he was a halfrican.

If he would have been all white, as pissed off he had Americans, he would have been popped.

Now for Trump, he just needs to put his big boy pants on and stop trying to run America from Twitter. The fly over country, the people in the mountains, the families running a cow/calf operation, the hard working people that put him in office do not run around all day with an Iphone implanted in their hands. They are working trying to put food on the table and clothes on their backs.

They are the meat on the bones of America and Trump needs to get down to their level on communication. He did not spend a lot of time in these areas but this is the area that carried him through and it is damn time he realized it. Some that I have spoke to wonder where they can go to be most effective on 1/20. They expect trouble.

Slowly, the rabid opposition will subside. Try as they might, Democrats will not be able to keep their faithful in a froth filled lather on a continual basis for the next four years.

There will be flows and ebbs, for sure, but gradually even Trump’s most rabid opponents will have to accept the fact that the lost and rather than keep crying over spilled milk, they’ll need to regroup and plot a way forward.

It may take a while, but they’ll get there. In the meantime, Trump needs to strike quickly and strike forcefully while they’re still blubbering in the midst of their tantrums.
