A visit from a plumber left ThinkProgress senior editor Ned Resnikoff rattled due to fear that the plumber may have voted for Donald Trump.
Resnikoff said his fear was rooted in the chance that the plumber knew he was Jewish.
While I had him in the apartment, I couldnt stop thinking about whether he had voted for Trump, whether he knew my last name is Jewish, and how that knowledge might change the interaction we were having inside my own home, he said.
The uncertainty of the situation left Resnikoff rattled for some time.
I have no real reason to believe he was a Trump supporter or an anti-Semite, but in my uncertainty I couldnt shake the sense of potential danger, he wrote. I was rattled for some time after he left.

LOL!!
Typical liberal Jew who has yet to figure out that Clinton supporters are far more likely to be anti-Semitic than Trump supporters. I have come to the conclusion that there is no cure for stupid.
Hmm, very interesting. It describes much of what the left does.
On a related note, I've been thinking lately that the reason the left latches so fervently on to so many oddball issues (e.g. "gay marriage" or "transgenderism") is that, although the left claims to be the answer to all of humanity's problems, they really have no clue how to solve those problems. They do not even have the basic skill-set to define problems in such a way as to facilitate solution development. So, because they have no clue how to actually work to solve problems, they latch on to these fringe issues which have nothing to do with the larger issues that actually impact lives of millions of people.
OMG
It’s a damn shame you have to let an unwashed working man into your house. Maybe it’s because even a real 5 gallon flush toilet couldn’t handle all your sh1t.
Resnikoff should hide under his bed and have snowflakes bring him coloring books and hot chocolate. We're EVERYWHERE Ned...
Ned Resnikoff is afraid of his own shadow.
paranoia strikes deep
into your heart it will creep
I don’t believe this.
The plumber wants to know if he is going to get paid in cash or with a rubber check.
Good grief!
And all his fears were confirmed when......
he got the bill.
I’d be more afraid of the plumber’s bill.
This is one of the Senior Editors of a leading Liberal blog which has been praised by the NY Times & Time magazine...and yet these crazies still they wonder why they lost...
I actually have a lot of compassion for the guy. It has to be hell, living with a severe mental illness like that. My complaint is with those who give him a platform to spew the rubbish his mental illness produces. They should be having an intervention instead. Get the “man” some help.
I think all of these paranoid leftists ought to go visit the comet Hale Bopp.
The problem is, his “difficult feelings or emotions” are spawned by an apparent severe mental illness.
Can't I claim some Safe Space here?
Most American Jews are cultural Jews, and they have developed a strong cultural identity as Jews while rejecting the doctrinal principles of Judaism that has no parallels in other religions in the US. For instance, cultural Catholics are more fragmented and less uniform in their self-identification of Catholicism than cultural Jews.
As a result, even while being identifiably Jewish, most cultural Jews embrace causes that are at odds with the theology of Judaism without any contradiction..
I've been trying to put my finger on it and this quote certainly helps. For 8 years Libs (rank and file co-worker grade Libs, not professional Leftists) were largely silent, easy to get along with, nonconfrontational. Now, they can't shut up about Trump. Apparently, Libs were able to hit the snooze button for the last 8 years simply because Obama was in the White House. Trump's victory is unsettling because it proves things are not how they imagined them to be.
The victimhood reservoir is self filling. When the level gets low, the valve opens and the tank refills. Self pity is the motive force.
