The YouTube channel of influential conservative politics and law website Legal Insurrection has been removed by the video sharing service, citing copyright infringement claims.
This account has been terminated because we received multiple third-party claims of copyright infringement regarding material the user posted, explains YouTube, in a notice posted to channels page.
Legal Insurrection founder and publisher and Cornell University Law Professor William Jacobson voiced his anger and astonishment at the channels removal. Its very frustrating, its very scary, to have 8 years of content removed without a chance to defend yourself, he told FoxNews.com.

YouTube - powered by Google.
Probably just a coincidence.
I assume we will soon hear from people saying YouTube could do this because it is private property. However, from the article it sounds as if YouTube breached its own terms of service. Sounds like Professor Jacobson will, in fact, have a legal remedy or two.

Twitter is doing the same thing by suspending accounts of conservatives
The libtards are angry because the American people rejected them and now they are throwing a collective tantrum against conservatives.
That’s a big LOL because it’s this same sh**** attitude is why Americans rejected them in the first place and continue to do so.

Yep!! YouTube even limited the videos of folks celebrating all across the nation trump’s election night victory.....but plenty of snowflakes meltdown videos!! Anyway they want to sear it into people’s brains that President Trump is legitimate and very few people celebrated his victory!!
Time for someone to start “FreeTube” or something similar. The he!! with media monopolies.
This has been a common harassment tactic on youtube — to file false copywrite claims. I’m sure LI will be back. It’s hardly a fringy site.
When all of the chokepoints on our Freedom of Speech lie in the hands of private corporations, you just can’t accept the private property argument any longer.
Most speech now takes place online. We are just about there.
All conservative news sites are living on borrowed time if the Ministry of Truth passed in December NDAA bill gets going good.
And the attacks on free speech and individual rights continues.
He should file of lawsuit against Youtube.
YouTube has tried this before with other Conservative web sites and had to back off immeaditly.
YouTube reinstated the channel and that was it.
Again. It is the seriousness of the charge that matters, not the substance or evidence or verity.
Perhaps this will spawn creation of Conservative sites and channels independent of the censors.
Private property is private property. So long as the government does not own and operate or regulate content then the owners may do what they will with it. Of course this should apply as much to bakeries, too. If there are entrepreneurs on the right with internet skills this will sort itself out soon. If conservative won’t support conservative sites and systems then they have not complaint.
That law won’t make it past a USSC with a new Trump Justice on board. There will be some rough times while it goes up through appeals court.
I noticed that within the last two weeks or so that my commenting account at ABC news has been cancelled. I’ve also notice that there is a HUGE uptick in liberal comments versus conservative in the last 2 weeks on different sites. It’s like they’re blocking conservatives.
That’s what I’m counting on too.
