POTTSVILLE, Pa. - America's oldest brewery has announced that it is expanding its distribution.

Pottsville-based D.G. Yuengling & Son, Inc., will soon be delivering its brands to Indiana.

Yuengling said three wholesalers have been assigned to distribute the beer. They are Monarch Beverage, Five Star Distributing, and Indiana Beverage.

"Our family has been in business in Indiana for five generations and to be able to partner with the America’s Oldest Brewery is both humbling and powerful," said Bruce Leetz, owner of Indiana Beverage.

Their beer needs a little more depth to it, but the low prices are appreciated. Taste is better than Bud or Miller at least.

I wish they’d get a west coast distributor. I’d like to try it. Heard great things.

Prefer Lord Chesterfield to their lagers and premium products...

I grew up Schuylkill County a few miles from Pottsville. I’m very familiar with this beer.

We switched to Yuengling once we learned the family are big Trump supporters. They have a brewery here in Tampa, too. Keep meaning to go on a tour but just haven’t gotten around to it.

Yes, my best friend has family conn toons to the DGY family. I prefer Lord chesterfield and their Porter when it can be found (rare except in PA) they also make a great American Pilsner style and a good Black and Tan. Little.lnwn taco is that th family runs the largest volume brewery in the US.

I heard the left wanted a boycott of Yuengling. That must be why sales are going up.

I allocate myself 1 Yuengling per every 4.5 holes when I’m on the links.

Plus they’ve got neat baseball caps.

We just got it here in Louisiana and it was in Mississippi for awhile before we got it. It’s slowly moving your way.

Lager is great as a draft or from the bottle...Lager lite, meh. Not worth the lost calories for the lost flavor.

Their Porter is smooth and rich, easy on palate and pocketbook alike.

Oktoberfest is sub-par—New Glarus, Stoudts, and Becks stillon the top of my list.

I switched from Peroni to Yuengling. Good mid-line beer, goes well with food, reasonable price, not part of the InBev Miller-Coors collosus.

That took me back to being stationed in Italy in the late '70s - drank Peroni all the time. Almost makes me wish I still imbibed.
