Well, heres a new declaration from outgoing President Obama. Hes declared himself to be the father of the Tea Party. In an interview with ABC News George Stephanopoulos, the anchor (and former Clinton operative) asked the president what sentence would describe him. Stephanopoulos cited the quote by the late Congresswoman Clare Booth Luce, who said the greater the man, the easier it is to describe him in a single sentence. Luce uttered this in 1962 when asked by then-President Kennedy what was on her mind.
The 44th president said of himself, President Obama believed deeply in this democracy and the American people.
Ive gotten people who maybe didnt believe in the process to get engaged. Ironically, Ive even gotten the other side that maybe didnt believe in the process to get engage. I gather that Im the father of the Tea Party; I invigorated the grassroots of the Republican Party as well as the Democratic Party, added Obama.

"Gun salesman of the century" is more appropriate.
Or perhaps "the Sharia Shaman" or "Putin's Bitch"
I would like to see the birth certificate on that one.
He invigorated rioters and cop killers, but not the Democrat electorate.
More like the “father of ISIL” as he would say.
Staying true to his pro-abortion policies, he then tried to kill the Tea Party by weaponizing the IRS against it.
Obama is the father of no one.
Even the ‘daughters’ are leased and charged to the central socialist government.
Absolutely correct. I love how you expressed it.
Thanks.
Yes. Like King George III was the father of the newly formed American Republic in 1776.
Much like the devil is the father of morality. He’s saying one caused the need for the other.
The son of lies is a father to nothing.
They called the Tea Party movement bought and paid for “AstroTurf” and anything but grassroots..?? Which is it now?
Evil Chauncey Gardner.
His narcissism knows no bounds. Did he also claim he was the best gun salesman of all time? That would be true.
“The only people who don’t want to disclose the truth are people with something to hide.”
LOL......maybe he’s listed on the hospital OB records?
A woman I know very well is married to a man who defends the President of the United States (or, these past eight years, just the Usurper), and who is physically very close to that Renegade when doing that job. I asked her how her husband liked it, and her response was “My husband works for Satan.”
The opposite of Clare Booth Luce’s comment is also true: The lesser the man, the easier it is to describe him in a single sentence.

“Transparency and the rule of law will be the touchstones of this presidency.”
I doubt he’s even the father of the Wookies children.
I can give O some credit, but most of the credit is due McConnell and Boehner. People expect Dems to be immoral crooks. They get upset when they realize that GOP is refusing to fight them. That was the birth of the tea party, people realized GOP was complicit and they would have to fight this on their own.
Trump’s victory against DNC *and* GOP combined was chapter two of the tea party rebellion.
Well, maybe, but in the same sense that King George III was the father of American Revolution.
