Gold medal Olympian turned reality TV star Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, has reportedly accepted an invitation to attend Donald Trump’s inauguration. Jenner, who previously praised Trump during a contentious election campaign, will be among the many high-profile figures to travel to Washington, D.C. for the January 20 event, UsWeekly reports.

I think this is fine and opens a good opportunity to begin to ditch gender identity as a political dynamic in the puzzle that is politics.
This IS about politics and he/she Jenner is supporting Trump.

Trump is not pandering to this and I doubt he will. These are citizens of the US like it or not. You don’t have to kiss them and they don’t have to make their gender an issue politically.

During the campaign, Trump invited Jenner to use the bathrooms in his building and supported transgender. This is not a change at all.

I disagree. Trump has been on record as not openly condemning Bruce and his choice to dress in women’s clothing.
I don’t believe Trump invited him to use the bathrooms...only that he wasn’t restricted.
