LOL, I know, I'll tie a reminder ribbon around my finger, (or maybe neck), tomorrow so I don't forget!
64 degrees? Sheesh! Suppose to get near zero here at night for the next few days.

Just make sure you have a little note attached to the ribbon so you’ll know why it’s there. :-)
I’ll tell ya, without PostIts, the calendar on the kitchen wall, and a notepad in my purse to write stuff down, I wouldn’t be able to remember anything. LOL
We’re enjoying these 60s while they’re here. I feel for all you folks who are dealing with such cold temps and all that snow. *shiver* Not fun at all!

I hear ya! I like fall-ish clothes, tees with a cardigan over it and jeans or medium weight pants, but heavye coats? I only drag one of those out if it’s below 20 in the middle of the afernoon. LOL!
....and I’m cold-natured. Just get claustrophobic. Same reason I can’t wear boots or lace-up shoes. Too hard to get out of. :)

I hear ya! Are you going to be “sick” on the 20th so you can watch the real show? I might have to commandeer the TV for that day. LOL!

A t-shirt, pedal pushers, and flip-flops are what I’m most comfy in. Don’t like layers.
But a heavy jacket or coat WILL come out of the closet in a heartbeat when the temps are 50 or lower. Don’t like to be cold. I know - I’m a wuss. LOL

I’m home safe and sound. “The doors under the sink won’t close.” They worked this morning. Did you do something? “I took everything out.” Why? Because the doors wouldn’t close. This was going NOWHERE!
One of the things she put back needed turning a bit. Fixed! “What did you do? I just moved the box and everything is fine now. “I moved it too and the doors wouldn’t close.”
Get her something to eat and walk away....
I’ll go check my email in a minute. Thanks for finding me the good stuff. Rush was really enjoying the reporter getting blasted.

Sounds like what I wear from March till October. Except flip-flops. Can’t stand that thing between my toes! I guess I’m picky. LOL!

Lordy! I haven’t had a pair of cowboy boots since I was in grade school! And horses? fagedaboudit! I’m scared of horses. And cows.
I’m a city Texas girl. I do wear jeans though. That’s a must.

Uh oh. Sounds like it’s going to be another one of those nights with your mom. *sigh* Next Wed. can’t get here soon enough, can it? LOL
There are several links in the email to pick from. Shows how things progressed through the night. The very first link has everything pretty much in a nutshell.
Also added a link to video of that idiot reporter getting the business. It had me in tears, I laughed so hard. You’ll see why Rush got such a kick out of it. :-)

A lot of people don’t like flip-flops for that reason but I don’t even notice it.
It’s as close to going barefoot as I can get. I’d go barefoot but the bottoms of my feet are just too tender now.
When I was a kid, I didn’t wear shoes during the summer except to church on Sundays. I could walk on pavement or gravel and not feel a thing. Not now!

I really dislike the wind that goes on and on and on.
The way it works....I’m sure they will let their passengers know the weather as they arrive. She calls me when they start to deplane. I wait about a half hour, then drive by the Arrival gates. She is usually standing on the curb....I’m thinking she might want to wait inside. I can pull over just minutes before pick up, text her that I am 30 seconds away, and THEN she can come outside. BIG shock for sure. I will provide the winter coat, but 99% of her time will be spent with my Mom.

I dislike that kind of wind too. Ours has been roaring for two days now, without letup. It sounds like trains are constantly passing by. We only know one really is when we hear the horn when it reaches the crossing on our road.
I haven’t gone out to walk around the farm but there are probably some decent-sized limbs down. Trees have blown over in some areas of the state.
Yep, might be a good idea to tell her to wait inside when she texts. She won’t have clothing with her for that kind of cold.
Just don’t tell her anything before she heads up there. LOL
