PROMISE YOURSELF
Promise yourself to be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind;
...to speak of health, happiness, and prosperity to every person that you meet; ...to make all your friends aware of the special qualities within them; ...to look at the sunny side of everything and let your optimism work to make your dreams come true; ...to think, work for, and expect only the best; to be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own; ...to forget past mistakes and press on towards a greater future; ...to wear a cheerful countenance at all times, as a smile radiates warmth and love; ...to give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time left to criticize others; ...to be too wise for worry, too tolerant for anger, and too courageous for fear.
Promise yourself to be HAPPY!

You’ll get through it fine. It won’t be there forever and with luck, it’ll be gone REAL soon.
Just a pain in the rear while it’s there.
Good thing Penny likes it since she needs to go outside to take care of business. :-)

Do you set them in the same order every year? Or do you like to change their positions in the community?

There is variation from year to year depending on where I display them. The Church is always in the center with the Cratchit residence close by.

Good evening, radu, and a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
ARRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! I’ve written the letter she wants, bu for the life of me I cannot get a list out of her of to whom I should send it...I just spent 15 minues trying to pry a list out of her. “Use the same list as for cards and letters from Christmas. It’s in the red folder”. Where is the red folder? She doesn’t know. Then just tell me!!! It was on the dining room table and now it’s not. Where did you take it? Just ell me!! “I need the folder.” Fine...I’m going back to my computer. Call me when you find it. ARGHHHHHH!!!!
And how was your day? Was your weather ok when you visited Aunt Clara? Did you get snow? We are pushing zero.

LOL! Maybe it’s the first time she’s been in snow. Some dogs get really excited.
Someone in TN got video of their two young dogs in the yard yesterday reacting to their first snow. They were leaping all around, catching snow flakes as they fell. It was so cute.
If she forgot to do her business, she’ll let you know! “Mommy, time to go out NOW.” :-)

Sit, breathe deep, breathe deep again. :-)
At least the letter is written and ready to go whenever she finds that folder. Ooooooor maybe she’ll forget about it all together. Don’t remind her if she does! LOL
We only got a dusting of snow here but some areas got a little more. Very slick stuff and Nashville had hundreds of wrecks yesterday, including several school buses.
I didn’t go outside at all today other than to toss cat food cans in the trash can. That was enough. High of 23 and there’s still a little wind blowing. They call for single-digit lows overnight, then a gradual warming trend begins. I’ll go see Aunt Clara tomorrow afternoon.

Well, her profile says she’s from Cambridge MA, and she is six years old, so she must have seen snow before (in 2014 there was 14 FEET of it), but it is possible that, as a city dog she never got to “romp” in it.
Or maybe she forgot what it was like!
