As we watch the rise of the Snowflake Generation with a mixture of bemusement and horror – you know, the young people unable to use a can opener but who are certain they’re qualified to dictate business and social policy, the generation who can work a smartphone like a brain surgeon but can’t figure out what gender they are – it should come as no surprise that manhood and masculinity have come under fire.
If you’ve ever wondered what it takes to be a man, look no further than the University of Wisconsin-Madison. There you’ll find the answer: Real men act like women. There, problem solved. Ta da!
To underscore this, the University of Wisconsin-Madison offers a six-week program called Men’s Project, the aim of which is “to counter the alleged harmful effects of society’s masculinity paradigms and pressures and empower participants to promote ‘gender equity.'”
This syllabus alone is enough to force my husband into his “safe space” (the shop) and start cleaning his guns.
According to the project’s promotional material, the course “creates a space for critical self-reflection and dialogue about what it means to be a man and how masculinity impacts us and those around us. … The experience focuses on the examination of societal images, expectations, and messages around masculinity to empower men to better understand themselves, promote the advancement of gender equity, and raise consciousness in their communities.”

Gun cleaning is an excellent idea. The next 36 hours are going to suck weather wise.
I took a woman’s history class back in the dark ages and did exactly that. I was one of two guys in the class and the other was a prelude to today’s pajamas boys. The teacher was a 60s lib, but she still encouraged open discussion and enjoyed my antics because everyone else was too agreeable to the feminist propaganda.
She gave our final on unlined paper to ensure we didn’t cheat by writing our essay portion before class. I wrote the entire paper in a spiral that ended precisely in the middle of the paper. She gave me an A, but commented that I would have to comfort to societal norms at some point. Today, I’m a nonconformist because I’m conservative. What a world!
Already sucking in Golden Valley. YUGE flakes. Will they become YUGE rain drops? Saw that there are already road closures in the works in Sparks starting tomorrow evening.

There’s times I wish I wasn’t happily married to a wonderful model girl ten years my junior...to be an unapologetic alpha male physically fit should have pick of the litter with females right now. women have a biological urge to mate with the alpha male type they might fawn and preen over the cuck beta males to have a relationship with on the emotional level but they almost always will cheat and mate with an alpha its biological.
Good God what a playing field if you tell the PC nazis to stuff it and be all the man you were born to be. proudly say yes I have a full face of facial hair, no a razer has never touched my chest or anywhere else below my neck line, yes I hunt sometimes with just a knife against an animal twice my body weight, yes I can take apart a transmission or replace a set of friction pads on a disk set. sure thing I can wire up a outlet or bronze a pipe joint and lay a bead from a tig welder without flinging metal all over myself or others.
yes as a matter of fact I do own guns dozens of them each has a purpose, I’m proficient in every one and carry two on my body at all times my safe place is anywhere I go in a 50foot bubble around me babe. You dont just feel safe with me hun you ARE safe with me next to you. God what a great time to be a real man I sure hope some of these young men stay true to who God made them and cash in on this epic opportunity to play the field.

There's a tragic, but remarkable, story behind this. A couple was out boating on the Iowa River and they got caught in the downstream flow of the river over a dam. The couple got trapped in the turbulent water at the base of the dam.
The husband drowned, but his wife was rescued by a construction crew working on a nearby bridge. They lashed one of the dudes to a chain hanging from a crane they were using on the project, and dangled him over the swirling waters to pluck her to safety.
When I watched the video of this report I could almost hear Bob Seger's "Like A Rock" playing as a soundtrack in the background.

I have no objection to praising Susan B. Anthony; IIRC she opposed abortion as society’s ultimate failure of women.
Many women are now working “like men”, and they hate it. I suspect many of them voted for Trump; they realize they are being milked financially by the same gibsmedats that have been wasting my tax dollars for decades.
How long can women drive to work, only to see gibsmedats waking up at noon and walking around in their pajamas?

The selective nature of who is being praised is my point. Over the years men that were traditionally praised and shown to be good examples are ignored. The founding fathers for example. I have no doubt millions of school kids are being taught how awesome Michelle Obama is.
