After failing miserably in her 2016 bid for the White House, several sources are reporting today that Hillary Clinton is mulling a potential run for New York City Mayor. Although Mayor de Blasio, whose term ends at the end of 2017, has close ties to the Clintons there is no love lost between the two after de Blasio initially refused to endorse Hillary's presidential bid.
According to New York's Daily News, Hillary is being pressured by many New York Democrats to challenge Mayor de Blasio and wouldn't explicitly rule out a run when pressed by one top Dem late in 2016.
Hillary Clinton left open the possibility of running for mayor of New York City this year in a private conversation with a top Democrat, a well-placed source told the Daily News.Clinton, who is being pressed by many New York Dems to get back into the game by running for mayor, did not rule out challenging current City Hall occupant Mayor de Blasio in that conversation, the source said.
Meanwhile, we assume that Hillary hosted a strategy session on the topic with John Podesta and Huma Abedin that went something like this:

But something tells me she and her lover’s husband are probably not on speaking terms.
She’s addicted to power and a publicity whore.
Moreover, the Clinton Foundation and shake-down network needs her to remain in the public eye and her quotes in the newspapers to keep up her relevance in the oligarchy and Democrat politics - and above all - keep the CA$H flowing in.
Make sense for her to run for something where she has a chance of being put into some kind of power. Otherwise she has nothing to sell.
