A memo from the Department of Homeland Security, which was recently reviewed by Reuters, suggest that the Trump administration plans to hit the ground running on the construction of that U.S.-Mexico border wall when they move into the White House later this month. The memo apparently summarized a meeting held between DHS officials and Trump's transition team on December 5th in which requests were made for an assessment of "all assets available for border wall and barrier construction."

Don’t get me wrong, but I care less about the wall, than turning off the magnets that attract the illegals.
The first order of business ought to be removing them from our workforce and welfare rolls. Do just that, and 99% of them will self deport and not come back.

I think one magnet that needs to be turned off is to make it absolutely illegal for them to vote, make it a felony, make anyone who encourages or enables illegal alien voting a felony, make any election officials found to have allowed, enabled or participated in illegal alien voting felons, and throw them all in jail.
remember our Resident openly telling illegal aliens to vote? Throw him in jail for violating the civil rights of citizens.

It's down to a science: (1) publish a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM), (2) make the comment period really short, (3) stonewall any negative comments, and, (4) publish the rule, which (5) NOW has the force of US law.
