Islam is a pox on the world. Its ideology, at its core, is violent and extremely anti-intellectual. Taken to extremes, its results are pure evil.
Taken to extremes in this case is exactly what it's "prophet" did to establish his evil desire. Islam is an "extreme" philosophy. It is NOT a religion in the traditional meaning of the word. It was established through murder and beheading. The more brutal the murder the better as far as Muhammad was concerned. That IS the movement! It is not extreme anymore than my going to church on Sunday is "extreme". It is what it is and we had better begin dealing with it with "extreme" measures!
Islamic scholars will simply explain that, contrary to consensus history, this area has always been a central holy place for muslims who have authority directly from God to destroy as much of it as they want.
