I have no problem with the idea the Russians tried to influence the elections. so did the Saudis and just about every other country. this has happened every election since George Washington. unless they did something to prevent an accurate count or substantially paid for a politicians election I just don’t care...of course if you look at Hillary I think you will find that a lot of her money was funneled to her by George Soros not a US citizen
What’s wrong with this man? Alleged hacks by Russia and China have been going on for years. (We hack them, too.) NOW he decides to get all hot and bothered about it? Sounds suspiciously like Obama and Clinton.
That OPM hack was extremely serious. Hubby was in Defense and our personal information was involved so we must be hyper vigilant every single day when it comes to finances, etc. There are hundreds of thousands of people in the same boat. The OPM hack actually was “a thing”.
The Podesta emails aren’t a thing, but now Bolton is siding with Obama, McCain, Graham, and their ilk? Because Hillary lost the election?! I was in favor of Bolton getting a high-level appointment, but no longer. I guess Trump IS a genius when it comes to assessing people. Dodged a bullet there.
The most the Russians could have done is purchase third party political ads. I don’t see anything they could have done otherwise that had material effect on the election.

Bolton is just reverting to form, which probably means he's no longer being considered for a State Dept. position. There was a rumor that Tillerson didn't want him as his deputy.

Since the 1930's our domestic and the international Left have been striving mightily to turn the United States and Europe into client states of the Soviet empire. They failed, but have never truly given up.
Today, while they might not like the current Russian oligarchy, the Left still has dreams of world domination for their ideology. The Left would have achieved a major, if not final victory if Hillary Clinton had won. But now we have a chance -- possibly only a slim one, but a chance nevertheless -- to turn the tide of history decisively against the Left once and for all.
If Bolton has such view points, OK as many do. But when being considered for a position in the Trump administration, show some respect and express these opinions directly to Trump, but not to the public.
Palin mouthed off a while back. I don’t think she will be getting a position and I hope she does not. I used to really like her. After her public remarks, she’s just as repulsive as Carly Fiorina.
One thing the left has is unity and respect for their leader. obama policy inspired voters to get rid of 1,000 to 1,500 dem state & county politicians and actually paved the way for Trump to win. For the most part, they all towed the line, played the game, and shut up.
At issue isn't even who hacked the emails. It's what the emails said.

While I prefer an alliance and good relations with Russia, we will need the war dogs on our side at the ready. I’m ok with Bolton but I wish he would not encourage obama and McCain starting WWIII before we get Trump into office to fix things the incompetents have destroyed.
In the very general sense of cyber attacks perpetrated by foreign entities, yes Bolton’s statement is correct that the US did not do enough and would be well inline with Trump’s position and stance; however, the circumstance that he is referring is utter BS. To agree with his statement although from a general standpoint has points, is a validation of the fake news that Russians had anything to do with the leaked DNC emails and elections. The election wasn’t hacked as the voting machines don’t connect to the internet and the DNC emails aren’t matters of National Security.
