Vladimir the merciful?
Following this morning's reports that Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov would recommend to Russian President Vladimir Putin a retaliation in kind, and expel 35 American diplomats, saying that we cannot leave such acts unanswered. Reciprocity is part of diplomatic law" with Putin spokesman Peskov adding that "there is no doubt that Russia's adequate and mirror response will make Washington officials feel very uncomfortable as well", it was ultimately up to Putin to decide how to respond to the US.
Which he did on Friday morning, when in a stunning reversal, the Russian leader took the high road, and in a Kremlin statement said that, contrary to expectations, Russia wont expel any Americans in retaliation to US moves, in a brutal demonstration of just how irrelevant Obama's 11th hour decision is for US-Russian relations.
In the statement Putin said that Russia wont cause problems to U.S. diplomats or deport anyone, adding that Russia has the right to respond in tit-for-tat manner, but it will not engage in irresponsible diplomacy.
The punchline, however, was saved for what may be Russia's final slam of the debacle that is Obama's administration saying that "Its a pity that the current U.S. administration is finishing their work in such a manner" saying that Russia refuses "

This is embarrassing.
This is the equal of saying up your backside Obama.
How much longer must we endure this petulant manchild Obama? Good God!
They want us distracted with the shinny ball of supposedly Russia interference rather than the substance of the emails, Clinton Foundation illegalities, foreign money influence, war on religion, pedophilia code words, spirit cooking entertainment for the Podestas, creating havoc by buying protestors at Trump events, etc.
As Putin said, did he cause the Democratic Senators and Representatives to lose too.
Was he behind Clinton using an unsecure email server for our nations top secrets. Anyone else but a Clinton would have been tried and convicted.
No problem though, if Vlad wants to do something nice for the kids he can have them over for an inauguration party.
Hussein Obama has passed off the Russians and the Israelis big time.
Bad idea.
Putin is playing chess. Obama is playing with himself.
That's brutal. 8 years ago, Obama swept in on waves of hopes and idealistic promises... and ended it all with a not a bang, but a whimper. There will be no legacy and history won't be kind to Obama. [Shaking My Head]
At this point, we have NO idea what Trump will do. The first 100 days shall be very interesting.
Perfect.
But in these strange times, rooting against Obama is not rooting against America or American interests.
Be well
Wow, I’m getting a lot of laughs from the comments posted on this thread.
FReepers are amazing .... and Obama is pathetic.
All true. I never for one moment believed Russia had anything to do with this. It’s a sorry state of affairs when, when there’s something devious and illegal happening, your first thought is, “It’s the Democrats.” They’ve become the bottom of the barrel.
Amazing that Obama and Clinton are willing and able to risk starting a war just to avoid admitting they suck, Hillary as a candidate sucked, their GOTV sucked, she consistently insulted voters, and they didn’t cheat enough. They will risk war before facing the truth.
In the parlance of our time. I will use the phrase “Back in the Day”....
Our Grandparents, when children where just being whiny, and crying would make sure we were feed, OK, and a pin from the diaper wasn’t poking us.
Beyond that we were put in our rooms to cry ourselves to sleep.
This describes Jug Ears to a tee.
3 weeks left til he cries himself to sleep.
Go Trump
this year!
The Bastard-in-Chief is powerless before real men.
Bingo. Ryan never wanted Donald J. Trump to win the election. Now he has joined the lynch mob alleging Trump’s election was somehow illegitimate, the result of Russian voter fraud/hacking. He has no business being a Republican, MUCH LESS SPEAKER.
