Matt Drudge wondered aloud Thursday evening whether his popular site was the object of a U.S. government cyberattack.
Via the Twitter account for his Drudge Report, he said his news-aggregation site is the victim of the “biggest DDoS since site’s inception,” referring to a Distributed Denial of Service attack.
“Is the US government attacking DRUDGE REPORT?” he asked, adding that there was “VERY suspicious routing [and timing].”
In a later tweet, Mr. Drudge said the “Attacking [was] coming from ‘thousands’ of sources. Of course none of them traceable to Fort Meade,” referring to the Maryland base that houses the headquarters of United States Cyber Command and the National Security Agency.
Mr. Drudge’s news-aggregation site was one of the highest-profile outlets to take a favorable tack on Donald Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign.

They already caught Obama’s Homeland Security hacking into voter registration records.
Now that I’m thinking about it, I remember several journalists having their computers hacked by Obama’s government a number of years ago.

Because Matt is a lot more in tune than Obie will EVER be.
I think our government is involved in attacking a variety of conservative or anti-government activity on the internet.

Obama has a lot to get done and only 21 days left to do it.
The first thing Trump should do is order a complete investigation of Obama’s evil regime. He should give it real teeth with real consequences for those who think they can play like Lois Lerner with investigators.
Enough is enough from these creeps.
It may surprise you to hear this but nobody cares about FR. This place isn’t even close to being subversive enough to be a problem to the powers that be.
The days when FR was an idea generation factory are well behind us.
FR may be on the conservative side of the Overton Window but it’s still safely ensconced within it. As long as it is, it is no threat to anyone.
