I had a bet with a classmate in our senior year of high school (early ‘50’s) in a spelling bee. The bet was a sundae! I won and it took 3 years to collect on the bet - after I’d moved to CA from NY State and he was in the Army and came to see me. Two former farm kids and we went to an ice cream parlor on Wilshire Blvd., in Santa Monica and had no clue we were among the “stars”... We still compete with online tests and it’s fun. He’s two weeks late right now getting his results to me from one test. He wouldn’t make a bet this time. Said he’d never live long enough to pay it off! LOL
They don’t put up with this crap in the Spanish or French languages. In those languages every word has an assigned gender (people do not have gender, only words have gender!). If we are only allowed to use politically correct English, I will convert to Spanish. Very few people in this country speak good English anyway.

We’re overlooking a notable part of “1984” coming true: the “Junior Anti Sex League”. Written before convenient contraception, the goal was to invalidate/demean procreative copulation. Today, the same is being achieved by prolific contraception, abortion, LGTBBQ advocacy, and now a huge push to erase any distinction between the plumbing.

College snowflakes better damned well use them and pronounce them CORRECTLY as I do. If they ask me to pronounce the pronouns for them, that is exerting privilege against me because they aren’t handicapped with such difficult pronouns and I will be triggered.

I do not understand the plural usage of they, them as it pertains to a single person. All I can think is that these people are reflecting their demonic possession. They are possessed by Legion hence the plural usage for a single individual.
