Thousands are calling on Hunter College to remove a professor who was involved in an incident last week at JFK Airport in which Ivanka Trump was reportedly berated in front of her family.
The president-elect's oldest daughter was traveling with her husband and three children last Thursday when she was harassed by a fellow passenger who was irate over her father.
According to reports, Professor Matt Lasner's husband - holding a child of his own - began ranting at Mrs. Trump and told her that her father was "ruining the country."
Lasner and Dan Goldstein were removed from the JetBlue flight before takeoff. ------------------------------------------------------ An hour prior to that Lasner wrote on Twitter: 'Ivanka and Jared at JFK T5, flying commercial. My husband chasing them down to harass them. #banalityofevil'
Lasner has been very outspoken about his dislike for Trump on Twitter, writing shortly after the election about marching against the President-elect. He posted a video when he marched in Chicago with the hashtags '#notmypresident' and '#weslay.'

Since 1828, only 6 times has a two term president been followed by another president of the same party. We live in a two party system country. The pendulum swings back and forth, control flips between parties, and it has done so very consistently for the last 200 years. The peaceful transition of power from one side to the other has been the envy of the world for two centuries. If you want to live in a country with one party rule, move there. If you have to protest in the streets and cannot accept what hundreds of millions of people have accepted for 200 years, you simply need to understand that everybody knows YOU are the problem. Not the rest of us, not the country, not the electoral college, not the Russians. You. (Not to mention that you are the only thing on this list that you have any control over)
