This dispute is a useless distraction. Trump needs to be relentlessly focusing on the big issues and attacking PC.
The time he takes to mock Obama’said whining isn’t much. Plenty of time is wasted on other things.
Except if Trump doesn’t respond, he loses respect from the under-50 set. Failure to respond to attacks like this is viewed as weakness and cowardice by the Internalet generations.
